This is an inexpensive great compact tuner! Simple, efficient and effective. Includes a 2032 button battery(isolated for shipping) Simple one button instrument selector. The display is adjustable and easy to read. A robust cushioned clamp secures it in position effectively. AND...it is applicable and works well on 12 stringed guitars!! For 10 bucks, you can't go wrong!!! I LIKE IT!! I give it 5 stars..It does exactly what it is designed to do...nothing more, nothing less, just like me....Peace!

Nice compact little tuner, with a bright easy-to-read screen, and works exactly like other tuners work--and for a very attractive price. Only issue (and it's a small one) is that the on-off button is in a somewhat awkward position on the back of the unit and has to be held down for a couple of seconds to switch on. It's also the button that switches between guitar-bass-banjo-ukulele and it's easy to switch to a different mode without realizing it. Really, it's not much of a problem, just a slight inconvenience. I gave it four stars, but it deserves four and three quarters!

I'm new to this kind of tuner so I didn't think it was working once I turned it on and held it next to my guitar. Apparently it works with the vibration in the neck, not just the tone. I clipped it to the headstock and it worked perfectly. Small enough to be out of the way but turns a bright green when in tune.

For the price, I was pleasantly surprised. The tuner is sensitive, accurate, and easy to read. A nice feature is that when the pitch is right on note, the whole display turns green

These tuners are functional, but one thing annoys me. When you turn off the tuner it is supposed to retain the settings from the last time it was on. I want mine to stay in chromatic mode. It does retain that setting, but then if I strike an E string after turning it on it immediately switches Guitar mode. Then I have to cycle it all the way back to Chromatic. So I have to remember to strike a note that doesn't correspond with an open guitar string if I want to stay in Chromatic mode after I turn it on.One other observation is that these tuners are less precise than the d'Addario and tc electronic tuners I have. You can think you're in tune after using them but strike a chord and realize that the tuning still needs some work.Obviously, the price is great, but there's more to consider.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was fairly inexpensive—I'm not a pro just a tinkerer, but you still need to be in tune and this little guy does the job. The unit lights up when you are in tune. Uses a standard 2032 battery.

This is the best guitar tuner I have. I now have 2. I highly recommend this tuner easy to use and can be used with multiple string instruments. Just push the same button you ise to turn it on to select what you are tuning.
