Overall a very simple project. It was my first time doing it and I got it right without looking up how to do it.

Awesome kit. Came with camera bracket and proximity sensor bracket, less parts to remove from old screen making your chance of messing up a lot lower. Screen worked perfectly.

When I purchased this screen to replace a broken one on my daughters iPhone 6S Plus, it worked well. After about 6 months it developed a "tick" where pressing the home or power button would only turn on the backlight of the screen but nothing would show so it had a weird on but not on kind of look. As we neared the 12 month mark, the backlight in the upper left side of the screen gave out so almost a quarter of the screen was always dim while the remainder worked well enough. I ended up purchasing another replacement screen from a different seller and have had the same initial good luck for the past two months with the new screen. Ultimately this screen was worth it for the low cost, just not when your child complains about it acting weird after only 6 months of use.

The touch screen seems a little slow and the display a little less quality then the og screen although that may just be paranoia. It took me, a beginner, about two hours to install the screen and that’s mostly because I couldn’t pry off the screen and a couple screws won’t come off. Definitely worth the money tho if you have a couple of hours to spare and don’t want to spend a lot to replace your screen.One con is there is no instructions but those can be easily found online. E. 1. The screen is dull and grey (not as bright and is washed out grey compared to original)2. You can feel a bump around the sides where it transitions from the case to this screen3. The bad fit is such that when I press on a particularly spot on the upper right side, the screen clicks in and outAlthough it's not horribly bad, I'm dissatisfied with this screen and regret ordering this since I know how much better the original screen is. I got mislead by the four and half star rating. If I knew it would have these problems I would have ordered a higher quality screen.

Usually, don't write many reviews but this one is worth it! The screen came with a rear camera glass holder like its shown in the picture and the proximity one too. They gave me a free screen protector as well, much appreciated!

Everything worked great. My son was able to change his screen without any problems.
