Broad range of settings, modern design
Excellent unit and unbelievably low price. I was reviewing similar lights that were at least double the cost so I was skeptical about quality. I was very pleasantly surprised when I clipped it to my dual-monitors, arc’d the light towards my face and turned it on. It is BRIGHT yet easily adjustable to a range of dimmer settings. The wired remote is easy to reach and simple to use. You can toggle on/off, brighter/dimmer, and the best part: you can toggle the warmth of the light. I think there are cool white, daylight and soft/warm tone which I find great for use at night since it’s easier on the eyes. This unit solved my problem of not being visible on web conference calls because my face was in shadow due to backlighting. If you’re on frequent web calls and need some lightning on your face, this powerhouse light has a range of settings so you’re bound to find a setting that’s right for you. My hubby ended up buying this exact same light because he liked the look of mine. He likes that it’s bright enough that he doesn’t need to turn on the ceiling light in the room he works in. I do like the modern design as well.

Great lamp.
I use this light for painting. It clips onto my wooded easel perfectly. I love that there are 3 lighting options and you can dim them or turn them up. My first one stopped working after a little over a year, but for such a nice price, I got right on and ordered a new one and it was delivered the next day.

Convenience lacking a little.
This lamp is great. I love the 3 color temperature settings and the dimming quality. However , I’m not a big fan of getting up and reaching around my drawing table (which is always at a 45° )every time I want to turn it on or off. Maybe a solution could be to put the function buttons closer to the lamp itself. But not a deal breaker, more of a convenience compliant.

Loving it so far!
This was everything I expected, and more. The clip is very strong, and stays in place well. It's worked great on multiple surfaces. On the head of the lamp, the light can be directly adjusted on an elbow. If that's not enough, the neck is very flexible, but retains the shape you put it in. The area of coverage is alright (but not huge), and you can manipulate it into many different angles. It's power source can be either a wall-outlet or USB. (However, it is not chargeable, so it must be actively plugged in for use.) This made it handy for my computer desk, my drafting desk, and select instances of travel to my favorite coffee shop. I bought this for my drafting desk initially, and it's worked amazingly. Its lowest setting gives enough light to see your keys or letters, but not enough to hurt your eyes in a dark room. And with the three separate temperature options, it can be used in just about any setting. I'd definitely recommend this to others. (We will see how long the LEDs last, though, and that will determine its ultimate value to me.)

Bright adjustable light
I'm an artist (among other things) and needed focused light on my easel when working in the evening. I'm always a little wary about working under lights as opposed to natural light as it can throw colors off. So, getting a light that was the right kind of light that also could mount in various ways to accommodate the canvas I'm working on was important. I was a little concerned that this light was USB as I didn't have a port nearby. When I got it, I realized the cable wasn't long enough to even reach beyond the easel, so another Amazon order to buy a power strip tower (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MKR57NV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that solved the immediate problem but also has been pretty handy to have power so close. The light attaches with a clamp that is pretty heavy duty and opens up enough to attach to most anything I have - it opens up a couple inches. The flexible arm is long enough for most everything I'm doing, but it would really be more useful at 20-24" rather than the present 16". The gooseneck might not be as rigid if that were the case. Once you twist it around to get the light where you need it, that arm does not move. So, I guess the trade-off is worth it. The default light setting is a bright white and it's perfect for most of what I need it for. I do like that I can change the mode to a warmer setting to see my work in different lighting. Any mode is plenty bright for a smaller area. I've had some USB lights that were pretty pathetic, but this provides good illumination. This would be great for any work area. The only negative is the light switch location as is it's along the length of its cord and if you have the light mounted behind something (like an easel) it's a little hard to find/get at. All in all, that's a minor nit for otherwise a great deal.

I use this all the time
I have this attached to my main easel and LOVE IT. I wish the USB cord was a bit longer but it works out just fine. I do acrylic, graphite, and charcoal art and this is really great for giving direct light on to the canvas. I use a portable battery when I go to figure drawing sessions remotely since I can't be a sure a wall plug is nearby. 5-stars

Defective - stopped working in 3 months - no customer service
The lamp was great when it worked and exactly what I wanted - compact, flexible, hid nicely behind my monitor to light up my keyboard. However, my lamp was defective or they are cheeply or poorly constructed. The lamp stopped turning on after 3 months. I have it plugged into a wall outlet, and a small blue light indicates it is receiving power, but the lamp won't turn on. Since it was outside of Amazon's return window, I tried to contact Meiji. I couldn't successfully contact Meiji. I wanted to contact Meiji to replace the lamp under warranty. I would assume there is a short warranty to cover defects. Amazon customer service provided contact information to Meiji for a warranty claim. I submitted the claim but received zero response or even a conformation that they received my claim. Based on the difficulty contacting Meiji, I wouldn't recommend this product.

Nice light for the price. Use it for my webcam. Doesn't last very long.
It's designed to be a desk lamp, but I'm using it for my webcam. I want a light to brighten my face in meetings, and the round or other webcam lights were obnoxious looking in my opinion. I was able to attach it to my monitor stand and have the light sitting just above my monitor. Very low profile but provides plenty of light. Adjustable colors work well to get the lighting right for conference calls. My only gripe and reason for 3 stars is they don't last very long. I'm on my third light in 2 years, so only getting about 8 months before they die. First seemed to be a broken switch, and second just wouldn't light up. The buttons crack, so the casing on the switch isn't very good. I don't use it that often (4 times per week for maybe 6 hours) so feel it should last longer. The new one I just bought is slightly different materials, so maybe it will last longer.

Completely exceeds my expectations.
I honestly didn't have the highest expectations for this lamp. A lot of the older reviews for the previous plastic model aren't great. And I couldn't find too many reviews between Amazon and Ali****ss for this newer metal version. But wow, I absolutely love this lamp. The arm mechanism is smooth and pretty easy to manipulate. It looks like it should last for a decently long time. (Just a note, this arm does appear to be a standard generic arm that is sold for a variety of products like microphone boom stands and desk lamps) The light itself is exactly what I was looking for. The white setting is just a bit whiter than your typical office, and it's not too stark. It's actually the perfect white to do some hard work under. The 3000k setting has a every so slight yellow/pink tinge to it (beyond what you'd normally see in incadescent bulbs) but overall, it's great too. I do wish the controls could be better. The touch button isn't as sensitive as it could be, and I often have to tap a second time. Lastly, just some info about my setup so any future buyers can judge if this works for them. My desk is 48x31 inches. I have this lamp clipped onto the back edge, about 25 in from one side. The arm is high enough to go over my monitor that I have on the desk, and also bright enough to light up all the papers in the center half. The edges of my desk get a bit dimmer, but considering this size of this light compared to the desk, I have zero complaints about that. Couldn't be happier!

A bright idea
Having bought an art table, I needed a good light for it. This clamps on easily, is super bright yet dimmable, and unobtrusive. I even forget it’s there. It’s nice having the option to change the color temperature. I use both settings depending on ambient lighting in the room. The fixture is all metal. Installing it was a snap. I am not very fond of the touch sensitive switch - it takes some getting used to, but it works. Sometimes I need to tap it a few extra times to turn on. I am glad I purchased this lamp. It’s a great value, and SOLID.

Does the job but the build quality could be better
Nice little lamp for anyone looking to do some hobby-ing (I bought mine for painting miniatures). The light it puts out is nice and bright and being able to flip through the brightness settings and colour temperatures is great. The only negatives for me were the on/off button which is quite temperamental as it is a touch-and-hold style button as opposed to a standard rocker switch or spring-backed switch. When I initially set the lamp up it flashed on briefly once or twice and I actually thought I'd gotten a dud! After a couple of attempts at getting it to reliably turn on and off though I've gotten the hang of it - it could be improved though. Also, the desk clamp it comes with is okay but the small threaded screw that the collar uses to hold the lamp in place and allow it to swivel side-to-side slowly scratches the coating away at the bottom of the lamp that sits in the collar. No one is going to see this in all likelihood so it probably doesn't matter but again - thought this was something that could be improved if this product is ever refreshed.
