Nordic Pure 20x25x4 (19_1/2 x 24_1/2 x 3_5/8) Pleated MERV 8 Air Filters 2 Pack

I've bought Nordic Pure filters on Amazon a few times and have always been happy with them. This latest order was completely generic looking. Not wrapped, plain white cardboard, no branding printed on the filter. They look fine, seem well made, and fit well. My only concern was about whether this was really N.P. filters or generics.

Overall the filters are great. They are just under 4 inches actual width, so be mindful of that. I had purchased another brand that said 4 inch as well, but was much larger than that and wouldn't fit in my furnace.Main reason for dropping a star was due to the damaged items received. I was able to use one filter, but the other is unusable. I don't know how such a light box gets so damaged.

Was what retailer said they were. Overall a good set of filters.

These filters are about the only ones I've found that actually fit perfectly in my Carrier system. My unit takes slightly smaller than listed filters which these are. Be aware that these particular filters are slightly smaller in size than the 20x25x4 states, and that works perfectly for me. I usually buy the merv 8 for slightly better filtering but decided on the merv 7 this time for better air flow and less stress on the blower system during this very hot summer season.

These are great filters for the price.My only complaint is that these ship in a cardboard box without any plastic wrap, so if the box gets wet, the filters will get wet as well.Would give 5 stars if filters shipped protected with a wrap on some kind.

So I bought product and then saw reviews. Was worried. However when the two came in they were same size as my prior one. I just had a whole new A/C unit and Duct work done at my home. So it was my first time switching the filters. Happy to say it was same size and fit perfectly. The filters came in good condition and seem sturdy. Will see how it goes!

False Advertising!! This filter is not 20 x25 x4. On the filter in big letters, it says "20 x 25 x 4". But then underneath it says "Actual Sice "19 1/2 x 24 1/2 x 3 /5/8" This is significantly smaller than the Honeywell (photos attached) This is like buying a 2-liter carton of milk and when you get home you find that "actual content = 1.6 liters". Outrageous. It also has many fewer pleats so quality is far below original Honeywell.

1. The comparable MERV12 Honeywell filter has 17 pleats, this filter has only 13 pleats.2. It is significantly smaller than 20x25x4.This results in quite smaller surface area (4 pleats fewer, plus each pleat is 1/2 inch shorter).If my calculations are correct, it's about 2 square feet (roughly 20%) less of filter surface area.Overall, the difference in price is not worth the difference in quality. I'm sticking to the Honeywell filters.

I received the product on time with no issues. I am giving it 3 Stars not because it is no good or does not deserve 5 stars. It is because it is to be MERV 13 and I have no clue if it is MERV 13! I was buying cheaper ones that were MERV8 and it looks the exact same in terms of packaging and product. Just not sure what I bought, as I am not an HVAC expert with a gauge.

Filter appears to be of good quality and fit perfectly. I was concerned about packaging after seeing damage to these filters at big box stores but the filters showed arrived in perfect condition

Been using these for over a year, replacing them every 3-4 months. House is much cleaner and my asthma doesn't act-up as much as before. Much better than the old one inch filters, as long as you have the room to install them. Price is comparable to local purchases, but with prime shipping, I don't need to go get them - just click and they're delivered a few days later.
