Solar System Whirls

These decorations are way better than I imagined. I usually read descriptions very carefully before I order something but I guess this time I just figured they'd be about the same as other hanging whirls that I have bought. But I was so surprised to find that they are 40 inches in length and the planets are nearly 6 inches across! The foil swirls that the planets hang from are nice and wide and a very shiny blue. I ordered two sets, expecting them to be small, but now I'm glad that I ordered two because I can use them in the big room and they will be the focal point of the party. They would also be great for educational purposes since the planets are all nicely colored (you can even see the outline of continents on the Earth) and each one has it's name printed in small letters on one side. I plan to go to this company first the next time I need any decorations!

These were a great decoration for a space themed 4th birthday party. (not easy to decorate for). It was a little tricky getting them to hang - I used blue tack to hang them from doorways. They fell, I hung them again. They fell, I used more blue tack, etc etc. But they looked great- they're long and large and bright and fun. We put pluto in the bathroom since it's not considered a planet by the new generation. Something to think about while you're in the loo.

Wow- I didn't realize how large these were!! They didn't end up working for my purpose as I had too many other decorations but had I known how large these were I would have planned better to fit them in for my space themed birthday party. These would also be excellent for hanging in a classroom with higher ceilings. The planets themselves are very large. They go perfectly with the Solar System Happy Birthday Banner, which also has the same size planets hanging from it. Big hit!

Perfect decorations for my 4-year-old's birthday. Only issue is that Uranus doesn't have any rings??? I can understand Jupiter and Neptune not having rings, because they're aren't as massive as Saturn and Uranus, but surely one of the main noticeable features of Uranus is that it has the rings? My daughter loved the decorations anyway though, and they are good quality. We'll be hanging them up in her room now after her party.

These are wonderful. I'm throwing an "Out of This World" Birthday Space themed BBQ for my twin sons. (They're obsessed with space, planets, etc.) Finding decorations short of making them that are quality has been difficult. These are heavier duty but still paper and foil. I left this in my cart for several days and price seemed to change daily. Not sure if the seller was trying to get me to buy or why it kept changing?

My son is a 4 year old autistic and he absolutely adores space. Bought these for his birthday in which we had two parties. They held up super well. Both parties were outside and it was mesmerizing to watch them spin in the Wind. We hang them from trees and awnings and my son was in heaven. Afterwards, I slipped off the planets and hung them on his wall in his room. Definitely got multiple uses out of these. They're quite large much bigger than what I was expecting which was a nice bonus.

These were perfect at my daughter's space-themed 5th birthday party. The coordinate well with other space-themed decorations available on Amazon. I was also pleased to see that each piece came with a clear plastic loop for hanging. This made setup and take-down a breeze. These party decorations are great both in size and picture clarity and my son loved having them hanging from the ceiling for his 6th birthday. They have one MAJOR flaw and maybe it is just because of our geographical area that we are offended but the image for the Earth is one of hurricane Katrina. We live in St. Bernard Louisiana, one of the hardest hit areas from the storm, and we ended up placing a small birthday sticker over the hurricane to cover it. I don't think it is an appropriate image to have for the Earth since it was such a difficult time for the families in the Gulf Coast area. I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST A NEW IMAGE FOR EARTH.

great educational solar system. easy to hang up and put into place. i like the names on the planets. i do find that for a condominium like mines the hanging blue part are a bit too long but can be fixed with just shortening the length. overall this is a good idea for room decorations if your kid is into solar systems. love it .

Cute! Hangs a bit too low so had to cut off some. The blue streamer part broke off the sun somehow ... still made it work. Had a hard time finding space/galaxy room decor so still worth it.

I used these on the ceiling as party decorations. The four year olds loved them and all wanted to take one home at the end of the party. High quality and sturdy.
