Perfect, but a little pricey

Its taken use a while to get going with this, partly because this method is new to us as we previously used a compost heap which we would store in plastic bags and seal.This method is far cleaner, all you need to is fill the compartment with waste and wait. The mixing feature all you to stir the bucket to ensure our waste is broken down evenly.You can extract the waste using the tap, providing you have waited long enough. The waste as expect does smell, and you really need to be prepared for that.The bucket seems to breakdown waste quicker in warmer temperatures, but it does the garden the world of good and our shrubs and plants have never looked healthier.

This is a good size for sitting out the back door, easy to set up and use, and I'm looking forward to checking out what gets produced after it mulches down!

A good item. Very expensive. I just hope it does what is supposed to do for the money I’ve paid. I’m not sure how long it will take me to get my money back. I use nettles which I’ve been advised to use I’ve been told 10 weeks from my first batch so hopefully I’ll get my money back. But very well made I would recommend the quality of the items is very very good. It is pricey so hopefully it’ll pay for itself.

Purchased to produce own plant food. Everything except the filter works perfvectly, but very let down by filter which is easily moved when rotating ingredients, making filter next to useless

This is so much better than I though it was going to be.I am very pleased. The plants rot and then the feed that you get from it works really well. Definitely good instead of plant food. It works very well for my garden.You add the comfrey and/or nettles, chopped up a bit. Stir and leave. The tap then allows you to remove the liquid very easily.The presentation is excellent, and a great gift for a green-fingered friend.

We love this. It's sturdy and really easy to use.It even comes with a little book recipes of what to chop up and out in the pot.In an era when we really need to think twice before using manmade chemicals on the garden - not only for the sake of eating produce you may grow, but also for the local wildlife especially birds and bees. Our world is in danger and we need to do more. Just in that respect, it is worth trying. The irony that this item is made out of plastic is not lost on us, but you have to start somewhere. We have a lot of Ivy in our garden and have started making fertiliser out this. Results take time to judge, but its a start!

I have made liquid feed or ‘tea’ for my garden before – but the slightly messy, slightly smelly way with a covered bucket and a stick. This is a much easier, more efficient, cleaner, less smelly way of achieving a good result.There are some great suggestions of plants which you can use to make your tea and we have an abundance of nettles growing on an area of unkempt/wild land near our house. We also have a smaller, but pretty patch of comfrey and plenty of dandelions, which is also great for teas. It doesn’t suggest grass cuttings, but these are good to use too and so can be used straight after mowing the lawn.Chopped up foliage goes in with water into the bin and then you stir it every couple of days (without having to open it as you have the stirring handle on the top to do this). It takes a couple of weeks, but when it stops bubbling, you know it is ready.When you open it, you can drain it really easily by lifting the inner portion and resting on the top. The solid material can be used too – we mix it into our compost heap. The liquid can then be decanted using the tap into bottles/canisters.This is such a great way to create really natural fertilizer – particularly when we have so many fruits and vegetables and we don’t want to be eating loads of nasty artificial chemicals where possible.Comfrey and lavender are also great for bees, so I will be encouraging our comfrey patch and planting some lavender so that we can make further varieties of tea for the garden and support the bees!

Den Hozelock Biomix möchte ich nicht mehr missen. Er ist einfach in der Handhabung, es entsteht keine Geruchsbelästung und das Ergebnis kommt meinen Pflanzen das ganze Jahr über zugute. Er erhält meine volle Kaufempfehlung.

J'ai obtenu un super purin d'ortie. Facile à utiliser. Pas d'odeurs car il ne faut pas ouvrir le couvercle pour le mélange quotidien.

Très bel appareil pour faire mon purin d'ortie. Très pratique pas obliger d'ouvrir pour mélanger une fois par jour et donc on évite les odeurs parfois difficile avec les purins. Perso il est dans mon garage et n'empeste pas du tout celui ci. Une légère odeur lorsque l'on est le nez dessus pour le brasser et c'est tout. Je recommande

Ein sehr guter Artikel. Einfach und sauber in der Anwendung und so gut wie ohne strenge Gerüche um die Nachbarn zu schonen und nicht zu verärgern. Habe es mir zur Anwendung auf dem Balkon gekauft zur Herstellung von Brennesseljauche da ich bei fertig gekaufter Jauche zweimal auf die Nase gefallen bin. War vermutlich verdünnte Brennesseljauche drin. Als wenn die gelieferten Flaschen nur umgespült worden wären und anschließend mit Wasser befüllt worden sind.Ich würde es mir jederzeit wieder kaufen und absolut weiterempfehlen.Der Preis ist etwas hoch, aber der wird durch den Erfolg etwas erträglicher.
