📑 500 pages shredded... and counting 🏆
This machine literally can last 20 mins+ continuously. This shredder can utilize BOTH shredding slots at the same time! So you can automatically do 70-pages of paper in the back slot (that shreds one page at a time = 70 total) and 8-pages manually in the front slot. The machine will indicate if it needs to cool down and/or requires the bin to be emptied. The manual reverse option doesn't really work as efficiently but I barely needed to use it (since it has an automatic reversal to prevent paper jam). The wheels come attached to the machine, so it's ready to use straight out the box. It also comes with 5 lubricant sheets and a plastic recycling bag. The cord is shorter and you probably would need an extension cord. The paper shreds are a true small micro-cut shred which is the best for maximum security of sensitive documents. This is a machine worth the price and will last a long time as long as you use lubrication sheets regularly (every time it needs cool down and/or after 30 mins of use). The size is compact (similar to a small office trash bin), which is much smaller than other large capacity shredders. I've shredded over 500 pages of papers, credit cards, cardboard folders, and DVD discs without ANY ISSUES. This shredder is reliable and so much cheaper than paying to shred at Staples. I hope this review helps :)

This is the best paper shredder I’ve ever owned.
About 5 years ago, I owned a paper shredder I bought on Amazon. The Amazon Basics brand, and man it was a pain in the you know what. Since then, I’ve been looking for a top quality paper shredder since then and I’ve found one with the Boxis AF70.Use: This paper shredder is everything I hoped it would be. Two slots for your paper, one is auto feed and one is a manual feed. You can shred up to 70 sheets and 8 cards at a time. So far, I’ve shredded about 30 papers at a time and I’ve had no problems with it jamming. The waste bin slides out and it’s easy to clean.Cleaning: This paper shredder comes with 8-10 pre lubed sheets so you don’t have to worry about using paper shredder oil separately. I recommend you use one of those lube sheets every month. It comes with a liner bag you can line the waste bin with. However, I recommend you don’t use the liner bag. When you start seeing debris from the shreds, take a disinfected wipe, a paper towel, and wipe inside the bin. The yellow light won’t go off if you don’t line the bin properly with the bag. I personally don’t use the bag.No wonder this paper shredder always sells out. It’s a top of the line quality paper shredder. Highly recommended you buy it. It’s on wheels too so you can roll it anywhere and you can lock the wheels so it won’t roll if you want too.

Very happy with this unit.
As fo writing this, I've had the unit for about 3 days. I also considered the Fellowes AutoMax 100. I bought this Boxis right after buying and quickly returning the Amazon Basics 150-Sheet Autofeed Micro-Cut Paper Shredder. That's a really nice shredder for the money, however I returned that one because the feeder was only designed for 8.5x11 paper and I needed something that could handle multiple sizes smaller than that or longer than 11 inches if need be in the auto feeder. So far this unit is a champ. Like any shredder, they all get stuck from time to time, especially when not properly used. I like the size of this unit, it powers through a variety of weighted papers even in the feeder. Envelopes too. The only things I'd change about it is I wish the motor were a littler more quiet like the Amazon Basics 150-Sheet Autofeed Micro-Cut Paper Shredder. I also wish the power/motor direction button were touch buttons rather than this plastic slider. It feels a little flimsy and you have to give it some force to put the button in the mode you want. Perhaps that's by design. I know that people complain about the 20 minute runtime for the auto feeder. I don't see that as an issue. It'd be nice if it were longer, but it's fine. I am in the process of shredding two fully packed kitchen trash bags of old bills and then will work on old documents in a filing cabinet. I have no concern that this will handle the job without issue as long as I use it properly. I am very happy with this purchase so far, but only time will tell how it holds up.

The AF300A is an excellent shredder for specific applications
This is a solid shredder that does its job and is much better than the staples brand shredder we had before. It does have a specific use though. If, like us, your intention is to get through years worth of shredding, you may be better off getting two of the Boxis AS120s.What you are paying for in the AF300A vs the AF120 is a higher capacity load tray (300 pages vs 120), higher capacity bin and locking ability. We have yet to use the lock ability as it is for personal use. If your intention is to use it periodically throughout the day in a common space, this is an ideal shredder. It is not ideal for sustained use, however. I can typically run 600 pages (two loads of the max capacity back to back) before the temperature safety shuts the machine down and it takes about an hour to shut down. Our AF120 has less capacity, but it seems to run much longer even back to back. If I were to do it again I would likely buy 2-3 AF120s for the same price. This is not the fault of the manufacturer, however and preforms well for its intended use, thus the 5 stars. Also: my machine came with one of the rolling wheels smashed (likely the shipper handling the box really rough as one of the corners of the box was caved in), I contacted boxis directly and they sent me out a new set of wheels quickly and for free. Its nice to know they stand by their product and have invested in solid customer service.

Employee of the month
I love this thing. It is not ideal for folded paper or envelopes but you can always put those through the manual feeder. We shred a lot of documents and we can just stack them in the bin and turn it on as we are leaving for the day. In the morning they are all shredded and it is ready to go again. You can shred while working, its not overly noisy, but why not run it at the end of the day.
