I am an amateur singer and have been recording songs on my phone. Just recently someone suggested me to invest in a dedicated sound recorder. And so I bought this!And now for the item review.Pros:1)You. Will. Hear. The. Difference.2)For approx $50, this is amazing.3)Recording quality is amazing.4)Condenser does it's job. If you record songs, you will truly appreciate the value of it.5)I use a Mac, and I didn't need to install any software. Just plug it in and you are good to go!Cons:1)So far none. Can't complain.I will keep using it. So, if I can find some other pros and cons, I will add to the list.

I had a chance to use this last night in Ableton and glad to report that the quality is good and no pre-amp is needed. The last mic I had required the input be completely maxed and the room be silent to pick up any decent audible recording. With this mic it more than picks up the audio loud enough. I even had to turn the volume on the mic down a tad so it wasn't too loud. I guess my only criticism is the USB cord could have been longer but that's a super easy fix. I like the stand it came with and the quality is better than I expected for the price. I can finally invite my singer friend back over and get a decent recording of some vocals!

Recommend this recording microphone. After connecting my PC, just a simple setup step, after a few minutes, it works perfectly, sensitive pickup, so you can reduce its sensitivity though the recording software. The sound is very clear and there is almost no background noise.Recently i have been searching for some recording editing software. Fortunately, I have collected audio software from two different systems and hope to be helpful!Audio software on Mac: KaraokeTube for Mac, MidiCo for Mac, QMidi Pro for MacAudio software on Windows: WavePad, Audacity, Ardour, Traverso, QTractor, Linux Mutimedia Studio(LMMS)

Recently purchased this mic, and I'm never going back to the old fashion plug. This is a great USB microphone that was instantly recognized by my computer and didn't need any updates/patches to begin working. Set up was super easy and worked perfectly with my current set-up. The pop shield that came with the product is of great quality. Would definitely recommend for all podcasters/voice-over artist.

The microphone can record, but it picks up any and all sounds around it. It even picks up the sound of the blue LED light flashing on it. I’m rather disappointed that you can’t fix the light issue. It constantly sounds like a heart is beating. I’d rate it five stars if I could fix the problem myself, but I can’t seem to find a solution.

This is a fabulous mic kit for a beginning podcaster or youtuber. It was easy to plug in and get going in my computer, and the sound is clear and crisp. I would recommend this over using the computer or phone speaker when creating audio or video files to use!

I bought this microphone set to record audio for my screen recording and to do voice-overs for any video I shoot. I already had one mic with XLR cable connected to audio interface which I use to record songs. It hasn't been that productive to use the same mic all over the place. So, I got this USB mic for my video projects which doesn't require studio quality sound (It will cost much more for that) and also at the same time is bang for the buck.

I just started my podcast. Overall this was good quality for the price. I recommend to someone who is getting started. I also tested with singing into my computer software and it worked great!
