my hairs thin/fine/falls just above armpits seek a bit more than a wave and volume/body. will these work? best way/products to prep before applying?

My hair is also very fine with no body whatsoever. I used these rollers with wet hair and when dry, my hair was curly. Problem, however, is that the curls didn't last. I might try some hairspray next time, but I did not use any hair products with the rollers.

can i put these on wet hair?

Yes, you can. I put them in wet hair and then blow dry with the rollers in if I'm in a hurry or just let dry on its own.

A are small med large B is jumbo
