Polycarbonate lenses, easy to use, mould. It is a very light material, low thickness (1.5 mm) and very durable. It has a TAC coating which provide a polarised filter. This coating is made from cellulose triacetate which blocks 100% of UV rays, eliminates 99% of blinding light and improves the contrast of colour and visibility. They are lenses in category 3, which means they allow between 9 - 18% of sunlight through (light transmission). It also has a reflective layer, this requires a much higher level of protection because it is a barrier for the blocking of sun rays.
