Received my order next day. Was excited to try them, noticed on the bag eat shell and all. Was skeptical about it, but boy the flavor is amazing! I've had their jerky. These peanuts are a absolute must for snacking. 5⭐️ for sure.

These were available in Tennessee at the stores but I can't find them here in California. They are the best peanuts I've ever had I wish I didn't have to order them online to get them

I wanted some salted peanuts in a shell and ran across these deep fried peanuts. Eating the shell piqued my curiosity so I decided to give them a try. As it turns out, I don't like the shell even when they're fried like these. I tried eating these without the shell but you need the shell in this case for the flavor - the salt doesn't permeate to the inside so the actual nuts are very bland. The product was very fresh, but I won't be ordering more for myself.----UPDATE: I ordered the 3 pack for the free delivery and wrote the first part of this review after finishing the first bag. I have since finished the third bag and I am beginning to like them better. Still not sure if I'll order them again but I did add another star to my rating.

BLUF: I would never recommend this item to anyone!I was beyond excited to be able to eat the “shell n all”! Either the bag I received skipped the deep fried portion of the process or the shells are in fact not edible. I’m sure you all want a detailed description of my experience so I’ll make this really easy. Buy a regular bag of salted peanuts in the shell, open the bag, and start munching on the “shell n all”. See my point??? Exactly!!!! There was no difference between the two experiences!!!! Never again!!!

I basically like most all kinds of peanuts so I thought I would give these a try. Well, if you like eating seasoned/flavored shells this makes a nice crunchy snack. However, the peanuts themselves are very small so you get very little if any actual peanut flavor when you eat shell and all. And if you just eat the tiny peanuts by themselves you find that all the flavoring or seasoning is just on the shells - the tiny peanuts have very little flavor - other than I guess a slight plain roasted peanut flavor (for what flavor there is). After eating a few I thought about throwing the rest outside thinking maybe the squirrels, birds, or other critters might eat them. Then I thought, I wonder what would happen if I cooked the things like you would for preparing boiled peanuts, so I threw a small batch in a small pot with water, added a little salt and a little Cajun/creole seasoning (just a fraction of the amount compared to if you were preparing normal boiled peanuts from scratch with raw peanuts (and I didn't add any shrimp-crab boil liquid concentrate like I would for actually boiling raw peanuts from scratch)) and let the peanuts simmer about 1 to 1-1/2 hours (basically long enough for the shells to soften up). So I've been doing that and eating the tiny peanuts which then have a little more flavor from the brine mix. Still have some that I haven't fixed up yet, so don't know if I will continue to go through the hassle of preparing the rest or just go back to my original thought and throw them out for the critters. Definitely will not be purchasing any more.

Ordered these because I love fried foods and thought these would taste different. The frying process apparently doesn't reach the peanuts inside the shell, nor does the salt really. They tell you to eat the shell too but yuck! So I paid a lot more for these hoping they would be different but I'd have just preferred normal in shell salted/roasted peanuts. Definitely will not buy again.

If you like to suck on the shell, then eat the peanut, THIS is the peanut for you!! Not an extreme amount of salt, like I like, but it’s about the shell! You can eat it if you want, but I don’t.

I bought these sampler packs to give as gifts. I bought three of them. I broke up one set and gave them to three different people, then gave two complete sets to two male relatives.They are interesting to eat. It's weird to eat the shell of a peanut when you've gone your entire life without eating them. And wow do they pack flavor onto them! There is garlic, sea salt and spicy. I did not try the spicy but the recipient said it was good - not over the top spicy - but with just enough heat. I tried the sea salt and the garlic. Both were pretty salty, but good.Eating the shell is amusing, but after you chew it for awhile it's like - like when you eat a whole sunflower seed. It's tasty but then the more you chew it, it ends up tasting like straw? This is not a complaint against the product; rather, it's to let you know what the texture is like. Sunflower seeds are delicious, but sometimes when you're chewing the outer shell it can get a little weird texturally, and these are the same. But they are delicious, and like I said - very fun.My son, who received the spicy, did not like dealing with the outer shells, so he simply eats them by removing the outer shells as you would regular salted peanuts. And they are delicious inside, too. These were great gifts and a unique and fun gift to give, too. I would not hesitate to order from this company. The product is awesome.
