After somebody broke in to my house I just had to do buy a camera to monitor my house. This camera gives me very clear picture day or night. The instructions were simple and installation took about 10 minutes. The price is great for the quality of this camera.

I am using this with the Dakota pride driveway alert. It works also with a Dialer so that I get called when someone comes down the driveway and also an X10 Interface to start a macro that turns on 25 lights in and out of the home, and then turns them off at different intervals - only at night. I ma also using a Wireless Universal Transmitter (magnetic switch) for my mailbox. A total of 4 inputs can be use. I do have a problem with the lights not continually flashing after it is triggered. The manual says to press a button for 1/2 second, and then again for 1/2 second to have continual flashing to know it has been triggered. Sometimes it will work with zone 3, but never zone 1. I wish there was more flexibility (such as using a USB cable to program it on a computer). Also I wish more alert tones are available - some are a little 'dated'. I guess we get spoiled with the flexibility of cell phones. I would pay a little more for an updated version with computer programming (like the old X10 modules - old and inexpensive tech, but much more flexible). You will need a small screw driver and a needle-nosed pliers to make adjustments. Customer service is outstanding.

Cotton as advertised. Very comfortable and not binding at all. The only reason I did not give 5 is they are a little too large for me. I wear a size 7 shoe and the medium is a little large. I hope they will shrink more.

I purchased (1) DCR-2500 and (2) DCMT-2500 and am very pleased. We purchased these sensors to let us know when cars/people/dogs are walking past our house on our (not-busy) road so that we can train our unleashed dog to not run out at passerbys. Each sensor is 700 feet from the receiver. One sensor is placed 10 feet up in a tree and the other about 1 foot off the ground in a stone wall. Note: these are not mounted per the recommendations of the directions. I camoflauged the sensors to minimize the liklihood of vandalization. It definitely takes trial-and-error to get the right settings and orientation, but they are sensing well. We've had the sensors for a week and they've notified us of every person walking by (about 20). I'd say the hit rate for cars is 75%. Perhaps because they are not mounted in the recommended manner and cars move faster than walkers. Just a guess.
