AngelusBurgundy Acrylic Leather Paint

I love the way Angelus leather paints go on and how they wear when dry. I follow the directions on their website and on YouTube videos and I get wonderful results. The paint looks great - professional and the color is beautiful.I mixed this burgundy with a touch of magenta to get a more pinkish tone. And I coated it with Angelus finisher. The final product will wear well and looks great.

Excellent product for use on my purse. Not a match for LV. It it’s too purple. I used it on another leather for trim and it is beautiful! So easy to use. Fast dry and color is gorgeous! I seal it with 1909 Collonil leather cream and buff it to a shine. It is perfect.

I purchased the burgundy because I thought it had a purple hue to it (based upon some customer reviews). The paint, in the bottle, looks purple, however, it truly is a burgundy color when you apply it. I used this on booties which were beige. It took about half the bottle to cover one pair and it is streaky, so it will need a second coat. I watched a couple of YouTube videos before purchasing to get some tips, which I thought were helpful. This product is easy to use, no smell and easy to clean up. I suggest using blue painters' tape to cover the portions of your shoes or boots where you don't want to get paint. Try to make the brush strokes all in one direction for a more even look. This works great on leather, but will not cover rubber soles that great. I would purchase this product again.

I read another review that said the paint was purple and I was a little cautious about it but I know enough about colors as an artist and I figured it would dry into this nice mahogany brown and it sure did. It definitely has a little bit of a purple color so make sure your couch has a red purple and brown mahogany color to it. Our bonded leather couch was just very minimally peeling and the paint covered it up beautifully. Before this I tried wood stain and shoe polish and marker and none of them worked. Very happy with this product. You can see the scratch on the front of the armroll and the next picture is with the paint dry. The first picture is a patch that I did weeks ago that I forgot to take a before picture of and you cannot even see it. FYI I blended the edges around with my finger to try to get a little texture from the paint to match the texture on the surface. This is not for brown couches but for red/brown mahogany couches… not perfect but a good fix for bonded couches. Unfortunately, I feel like I patch it all the time and so maybe I should just buy a real leather couch next time!

It is perfect match and I used so little and smirked it up with paper towel. It took me 5 min to fix this top.

I bought this paint thinking full well that it wouldn’t work. I was wrong! My puppy likes to jump on my chair and ottoman. Before I knew it there are scratches all over it. I took a little of the paint then quickly rubbed it in a scratch right away with a paper towel. There are no brush marks or indications of repair. I wish I took before pictures.

It covered the scratches very well

It’s very small amount but it will go a long ways. The color is outstanding. I used it on old books to brighten them up and blend it in perfectly. would buy again
