Great product
Tried ever To hold my Sirius xm this worked perfectly to hold it in place. Way better that original product sent with my SiriusXm car player.

Great product for the money
I saw all the negative reviews and decided to give this one a chance. Stuck perfectly to my textured dash.

Adhesive is too weak and failed within three days
This is one of many Scosche magnetic mounts that I have purchased for various cars and the first one to fail! I have read other reviews or this and other Schosche mounts that have stated the adhesive is too weak, and until now I had presumed that the owner had botched the installation. I like the size and shape of this particular mount so I am not going to return it, but instead will get some doublesided adhesive tape from Home Depot or Lowes and remount it with a stronger adhesive. I had followed the directions exactly - alcohol wipe for the surface and allowed to dry. Then, after removing the backing I held it in place for a couple of minutes. The surface itself should have been an ideal surface - a piano-black flat area of trim on the dash. The mount held up for a couple of days, but during a drive home, the mount and the phone (a Google Pixel 5) fell off, leaving the adhesive residue on the dash. I am very disappointed in this Scosche mount because I have had such postive experiences with them until now.

Doesn't stay stuck
Works great until it eventually unsticks in a couple months. The tape sticks to the car dashboard surface great but not to the mount itself. Even tried a different 3M tape and restuck it with the same result. It's something about the material that it's made of i think because i cleaned and degreased it before application and it still unstuck after a month or so.

Super strong magnet
Like that it works just as it's supposed to and I installed it on the dash of my truck so I have somewhere to put my phone

Weak adhesive
The mounting plate adhesive is rather weak and fell off in the summer heat and i had to epoxy it back on. The magnetic part is very strong though even on rough roads.

Holds my phone in my BOUNCY Ford SD F250
Easy to install, holds my Pixel 4a exactly where I want it. So far the 3M adhesive is holding up to the summer heat.
