Arrived promptly and just as described. Quite a few others have highlighted a smell. It smells like rubber—just like a new set of tires. It’s not overwhelming—but if you want a good rubber mat, that’s the smell you’d expect.I’m using on a 24” wide workbench—it’s a perfect fit.

I have purchased several of these. I have a 14 year old Golden Retriever mix and slippery smooth floors. Not a good combination. My Murray's legs were constantly slipping out from under him as he could gain no traction. There was also nothing for him to grip to get back up again. I started lining the floors with these mats and they work beautifully. Granted this is for practical purposes and not for looks although on the darker hardwood floors they don't stand out too much. I know they will have many alternate uses in the future. For now, they are the perfect solution to Murray's traction problem. As an added bonus, if there are spills or accidents I simply drag them outside and hose them off. They also roll up easily for transport on long road trips so when Murray and I travel together he's assured traction wherever we might be staying.

I bought this to cover a workbench in my garage to protect it from scratching, chipping, etc when tools are used. It is a perfect thickness and is very sturdy.

This mat works great on the table top in my workshop. Many other reviewer complain about the curling. Well put it out in the hot sun, or I used a heat gun, so now it lays perfectly flat.

I used these to put in my dogs ( Siberian Huskies ) cage, because when they sit up their feet tend to slide out from under them due to their fur in between their paws. I was pleased with the size and thickness of it. However there is a TERRIBLE odor that lasted over a month. It has either gone away or im just used to it now. I did read that in some reviews but i went ahead and purchased them anyways. They could possibly be scrubbed or something to get rid of the smell the same day ,but i wish they would look into this and remedy it. Would be 10/10 but id have to give it 7/10

Easy to cut to size with sharp box cutter. Nice thickness. Laid out well.

I live in an industrial loft with metal stairs. My dogs nails make the loudest clanging every time she runs up and down them, which is detrimental to my sleep. I bought this mat to cut up and put on the stairs thinking it might reduce the noice. It is hard and very thin, and really did not work for my intended purpose. Also, they really do smell awful, like tires. If it was outside, I wouldn't mind so much, but it's definitely noticeable from 10 feet away.Anyone else using something for this purpose: I highly suggest buying mats from home depot and cutting them. I found some foam black matts with that industrial metal crossing pattern on them and was able to buy enough for 15 stairs at $5 a piece. No more noise and I'm very happy!

Technoflex has solved our old, fat cat problem. Mr. Smith (our black cat) is quite portly, and also appears to be getting crotchety. So he has taken to entering the litter box only halfway & you guessed it: a puddle appears on the floor. We'd had a mat before, but it had failed to keep the floor underneath dry. Our new Technoflex has helped alleviate the problem.
