Great hat nice fits doesn’t make for head super itchy lightweight wear it 8 hrs a day

Great hard hat for a great price. I’ve had carbon fiber hard hats, my last was an MSA skull guard and let me tell you how much better this hard hat is than the MSA. This hard hat is super light, a surprisingly comfortable sweatband and comfortable suspension system, really simple 1/4 turn vertical suspension adjustment, and looks wicked. My co worker just bought the Lift Dax for $150 and that thing is big, bulky, heavy & uncomfortable. Super stoked on this purchase, not sure about wear & tear as I’m a heavy equipment operator so my hard hat is worn inside a cab all day, but it looks rad, & you can’t beat the price. It also sits pretty low on your head so you aren’t running around looking like a bobble head. Stop reading & buy it already.

This Pyramex Ridgeline Full Brim Hard Hat is really pretty. The material is ABS (plastic) which is really lightweight and the carbon fiber like aspect is striking, the details are really good.The mate finish is nice looking but super easy to scratch, what means that the nice paint job will not last much on certain types of jobs (first reason for the 4 stars rating).The dark colour is good looking but it gets hot a lot under direct sun. You can feel your head heating up very quickly, which never happen with regular bright hardhats (second reason for the 4 stars rating).The vents on the top does the job just right (compensating a little the heating problem) and the availability of accessories from Pyramex is delightful (not included with the hardhat).The hardhat fit me perfect and the 4-point ratchet suspension is good quality. Once tighten, the hardhat is super stable, I loved it.Important to highlight that the hardhat is a Class C (conductive) wich means it doesn't give you protection against contact with electrical conductors. In my work field, this is not important.To conclude, is a good hardhat.
