I needed to extend the LED strip's power cable from the control box to the outlet. The AC/DC adapter and control boxed used a DC barrel plug to allow quick disconnect. This DC extension cables was the exact size, both inner and outer diameter that I needed. I certainly could of spliced in a longer cable but this option worked out much better for my needs. I still need to run all the wiring though the attic but that can wait until the Fall/Winter ;) The cables is nice and flat. I currently have it running along the underside of the cabinet while I wait for cooler temperatures. Plus a proof-of-concept was desired to make sure everything worked the way I wanted it. We moved into a house that didn't have light in the laundry 'room'. It's situated in a short hallway with the pantry being directly opposite and having two large doors accompanying both rooms respectively. Pretty much no ambient light is able to get into the rooms and when the doors are open it just blocks whatever meager amount was able to find it's way in. The previous resident had a battery-powered light adhered to the ceiling but the batteries died every two weeks and the was quickly becoming an expensive and frustrating lighting fixture to deal with. I installed an LED strip in conjunction with an IR motion-activated outlet and it works absolutely perfect! I installed the IR sensor in the center of the cabinets at the bottom so it will detect movement from either door being opened. I can't possibly express how well this tiny project turned out. I still need to run the wiring to the LEDs through the attic but that can wait until the fall/winter ;) The fact that this purchase came with two DC extensions, I can add LEDs to the pantry on the other-side when I run the wiring in the attic later in the year!

Solid cable, blends with my crown molding, works well with my led strip, will update if any issues arise!

Mounted some WiFi nodes about 6 feet up or so. Required more length for the power supply, and these extensions did the job. Would buy again.

These lights are so fun- quite bright - and work as indicated. We got them for the 13 y/o for Christmas and she loves them. She’s always got some color going & figured out how to draw pictures and flash the lights to make it look like glowing black lighting. We actually returned a set that will work with Alexa for this set per her request based on what she heard from other teen friends about these— FWIW for others buying for their teen! The sticky backing has worked great for a month so far— it was easy to put up & is staying put on our walls that are not smooth drywall- I was nervous about that. The only reason I knocked off a star is because we needed to order an extension so that we didn’t have a full ‘extension cord hanging from the ceiling... easy enough- but I think it should come with it since most people are going to need it. Just increase the cost by a few $ and put everything you need in the packaging

Next day delivery. Super product. The flat low profile design is ideal. The barrel plug ends provide sufficient weather proof and water seal quality. The off-center nail plastic-mount provides a durable anchor point, especially in or around corners. The variety in length was appealing with no extra cable wire to bundle. I was sold on the market price value ratio. This was my second purchase as an add on for a WiFi security system that I gifted to my younger sister as a surprise.

Bought this to help run power lines to my security cameras. So far the cable as held up like the day I got them and makes it really easy to hide the cable when running power to your device. The cable is flat, so it makes it easy to run under carpets or inside a door or window. I run 2 cameras on 1 line and have had no issues, be sure to check your device's power requirements before using to ensure proper use and no fires. I'm not sure if anyone else is using this cable for anything else other than small cameras, but the power line has been good with no issues.
