Not exactly as pictured but did repair the issue with toilet. American standard Canada was not very helpful on the issue, they never answered :E" mails and when phoned you could be on hold for 30-55 minutes and still no answer. I as a consumer would probably not purchase another American Standard product.

The product I received was not brass as pictured. It was a molded plastic part. It work as advertised. But as plastic it should be about half the price. Plus, there are 4 screws pictured in the ad were missing. These are needed to mount the Fluid Master on top of the part. I fortunately was able to find 4 - 1 inch 10-32 screws laying around to mount the part and get my toilet working.Many other reviews have complained about the bait 'n switch picture. It should be corrected!

Well I agree with the other review. It IS NOT as pictured! It is a plastic part and not a solid brass part as was the origional. So this listing is very misleading. However, the part does fit and works. My only complaint is that for $50+ you should be getting what is pictured. If you want to offer a cheaper plastic replacement then you just say that. Here they seem to be offering an exact replacement part, and charging accordingly, however sending a plastic part instead.Unfortunately I wanted to get my toilet up and running so I installed it and it seems to be working. I will comment in a few months if I have any problems.

what can u say about a part that allows the toilet to flush wqith out flooding the bathroom it does its job

This item costs about $60.00. The only part of it I really needed was the rubber washer, which wasn't available separately. My guess is that washer would have only been about $5.00 if I could have bought it alone.

This part is grossly overpriced. It is not brass as it looks, but rather plastic. I gave it four stars because it does the job. A more reasonable price point for this thing would be probably $15-$25.

My toilet is leaking water between this seal and the ceramic part. You will not see the rubber gasket on the picture, you only see the top view.I wanted to buy the rubber gasket only, called the American Standard customer service. They do not sell the rubber gasket only, you have to buy the entire assembly. It is a rip off as far as I am concerned. They should sell the rubber gasket and not the assembly.

As several other reviewers have noted, the image used in this listing is misleading. It shows a bronze or brass unit (as per the original which I had to remove from the Champion toilet tank due to damage). The item as received was a heavy duty plastic with some brass insets. It does work, which is why I have given it 3 stars but I deleted 2 stars due to the misleading listing. Also the dimensions / measurements as shown in the listing are a complete mystery as they don't seem to relate to this item at all. I am posting images of this item with both an inch ruler and a cm one. The Champion is a really good toilet, hence the push to fix this one, but a clearer listing would have been helpful.
