This dish is the real deal. Excellent quality, durable, flawless performance, perfect design. Though this could be used for many things, I use it only for souffles and it is outstanding. The souffles cooked in this dish rise higher and stay risen longer because of the perfect design and quality ceramics. Great value, attractive style. 5 STARS

I was impressed when I unboxed this and saw how elegant, yet sturdy, it was.I’d originally thought I might use it to make yogurt in the slow cooker, but instead, I have been using it for various other purposes, such as serving the cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving.It’s just a good all-purpose dish that looks nice on the table or countertop. Of course it’s a soufflé dish, but I don’t make those. Think casseroles, cakes, vegetable or potato recipes such as scalloped potatoes, perhaps as a small fruit bowl on the counter. If you buy it, you’ll use it.

Now can cook "fancy" treats -soups-bread puddings ect. To lift out I will place it in my silicon basket that has handles!

Works great perfect for a meal for two

I am updating my review. The original was sent without any packaging, just a ceramic dish in a box. It was shattered. I got a replacement. It is a good size and will serve its purpose.

I like to prepare foods like oatmeal and rice using the pot-in-pot method in my pressure cooker. I had a been using a "stainless steel" pot designed for this purpose but over time, I noticed a metallic taste creeping into the food. On inspecting the metal pot, I could see that it was beginning to degrade. This ceramic souffle dish is a much better solution. Easy to clean, can be used in a standard oven, attractive.

First of all, the dish is made well. It's nice and thick, heavy, has an unglazed bottom, and is smooth everywhere else. Seems to be of good construction. The only thing that bothered me was that the blue logo inked on the bottom of this dish smeared when I first washed it. Not really a big deal, but I'd rather have a sticker or a logo that doesn't smear. But maybe this was the idea, that it would wash off.I made my first soufflé ever only a couple days after receiving this dish. It turned out superbly! The even heat through this dish made an even rise on my souffle. And cleaning up was very easy (partly thanks to all the butter greasing the dish, but also from the smooth inside).This dish is excellent! I would buy more in a heartbeat, if I needed them.

Perfect for making a brocolli souffle. Turned out lovely and high and so moist and fluffy! Highly recommend. Good quality and affordable although made in china.

This souffle dish is a great size for baking foods. It is also the perfect size for my 6 qt Instant Pot for pressure cooking. I am pleased with my purchase, and it will make cooking some foods easier in the Instant Pot. It is also perfect for desserts and casseroles in the oven.

This one is a winner and what a great price. My sister broke my fifteen year old French white clay soufflé dish last summer, and I have been searching for a replacement with the same qualities since then. This one works beautifully, and at a fraction of the price I had paid. . . . okay, so the HIC one is made in China, and mine was made in France. . . . still quite a steal.
