Custom Giant Beer Mug 27.5 Ounces Personalized Beer Stein

This is my first time ever writing a review--and I have been using amazon for a solid seven years. The reason I want to write a review is because I have been extremely impressed by this product and I am hoping this review will help others in finding that perfect groomsmen gift.I am getting married soon and I was on the search for engraved beer mugs for my groomsmen. Such a simple task I thought, until I realized there were many different sizes of mugs and most places wanted to charge an arm and leg for any sort of engraving. In addition, most other places only offered two lines of engraved text (so either you write their name and the event date; or their name and what role they played in the event but not all three).I wanted to write a name, the role they played (ie: Groomsman or Best Man), AND the event date.Lo and behold I came across this product, ordered it and promptly sent my engraving instructions.The beer mugs themselves are very impressive looking. They are solid glass with a very hefty weight to them. They also have a very thick handle. In other words, if you accidentally knocked it over on the table chances are in your favor that it won't even slightly crack.The engravings are also of stellar quality. It does NOT look like they are simply printed on the mugs--a concern I had with other places. Instead, it is very noticeable that the engravings are etched into the glasses themselves. Again just another positive aspect of the product that it makes it of very high quality.I was THOROUGHLY PLEASED with not only the price I paid for the mugs, but also the quality of both the mugs and the engravings. The beer stein came in time and had the correct name, date, and font. Someone had asked a question on here and it was answered as though they would be able to do more than just a name and a date, so I had asked for some scroll details in the email I sent. I got an email saying my order was being processed, but they didn't tell me they weren't going to do the scrolls. So I sort of had higher expectations for the mug, but when it arrived it was just the words. If they had just told me they couldn't do it I would have nothing to complain about, but I do realize I only paid 20 bucks for this thing so I can't expect too much of them. My boyfriend loves it though! I haven't washed it yet but I told him to not scrub over the words, as some other reviewers said the etching faded after being washed.

I think it was a great product, the reason I gave it a 4 is because it’s a lot smaller than advertised. It’s not by any means “giant” and definitely doesn’t seem like it could hold 27.5 oz.

Not only did the mugs arrive a full five days in advance, but they look great! They're made of a good, thick glass and have a good heft to them. I am not sure whether or not they are dishwasher safe, but I see no reason they wouldn't be.Keep in mind that you do get what you pay for - these aren't solid crystal works of art. On at least one of the four mugs I ordered, at no fault to the seller, there is a fairly obvious seam down the side of the mug where the glass came together. However, unlike my fears, the handles are the same piece of glass, not added on after the fact. For the price, these mugs are quite nice.With the engraving, these are going to be perfect gifts for our wedding party members. We're extremely pleased.

Item came very well packaged for shipping, nice heavy glass. Engraving seems ok, good but maybe could have been a little deeper. I sent in what I wanted engraved and they got back to me that they got it in the same day. I wish the words would have been placed a bit better but that is my fault since I didn't send it in the way I had in mind. But I think the person i bought this for will love it and it seems like really good quality

I asked the seller to put "FATTHEW" on the MUG as a customization but instead put the name of the gifter. Unsure why that has happened. If the name I provided wasn't appropriate enough i wish the seller would've told me.

Ordered a set of these for my best man and groomsmen. They all liked it. Great quality and build! I can't comment on them otherwise since I haven't asked any of the guys if they've used/washed them yet and how the engraving has held up. Unfortunately the date was wrong, but that may have been my fault. Either way, it made a great story and joke that we will always tell when talking about my bachelor party and wedding.

The mugs and the engraving are great. The shipping was good and nothing arrived broken. The reason I am giving this 3 stars is because my fiancé and I have just spent the last hour (not yet successfully) trying to get the barcode stickers off of the mugs--not necessarily something you want to do when you are trying to quickly get things done before a wedding! We are just now putting our groomsmen gifts in their gift bags (kind of last minute) and did not realize the stickers would be such a pain to get off, or I'd have done this months ago, when we first got the mugs.
