Runel Sambal Oelek Terasi

I was really happy to find this sambal on Amazon! Hard to find it. The shrimp component isn't so much "shrimpy" as it is created a depth of flavor; not identifiable as fishy...just balanced. The chilis have been slightly caramelized so there is a little sweetness to offset the heat. Great with rice dishes and really perks up vegetable soups.

Did not like taste and the packaging was poor. The "keep fresh" plastic was very loose. Would not purchase again.

This is delicious and saves me from having to make sambal for my family. A delicious addition to bland food.
