I purchased this years ago while chasing down issues I was having. I eventually gave up, and just drove it. Fast forward 4 years, and only about 15k miles later, I decided to get my car right. Got it really close, then started chasing a high idle, and IAC system code. The hours I spent researching, swapping out OEM parts that were probably fine. Adjusting idle screws, buying tools, spending every day off tinkering on it. I borrowed an OBD scanner with live data, and eventually I noticed my map reading was low at idle. Shut off engine, with key on, the map reading on the scanner was 28 in/hg, checked the ambient pressure, and it was 29.9 in/hg. Almost 7% off. I've ordered a quality replacement, and regret replacing my OEM sensor with a counterfeit version of itself. Do not buy. MAP problems are tricky to diagnose for DIY'ers such as myself. Seems mine was just poorly calibrated, and not extreme enough to throw a MAP code, but caused a lean condition and high idle leading to a idle air system code. You guessed it, changed my OEM IAC valve out chasing the high idle. I saved the IACV, though, and will probably reinstall after I straighten out the mess caused by this cheap sensor that will most likely say Denso on it, but it is most definitely not.

This was great! It was the cheapest MAP sensor for my car that I could find, and it was actually Denso Brand! That's OEM. I can actually notice the increased horsepower in my car and the exhaust doesn't smell rich anymore after the car warms up.

Was used on a 98 prelude. H22a4. Works perfect. Smooth idle. Direct fitment. Map sensor does not come with any hardware or O-rings. Quality OEM replacement.

Title says everything. I just ordered separate O-Ring from Honda stealership to maintain OEM expectations
