The media could not be loaded.  This is a high quality product. It was packaged well, each color glass was individually packaged. One side of the glass has a mirrored finish which reflects the flames. I did what another customer suggested and I rinsed the glass off before I put it in the fire pit. It is sharp, so wear gloves. We purchased two 10lb bags to fill our 18" x 18" fire pit. It was not the cheapest for broken glass, but we should never have to replace it and it is beautiful.

Bought this for my gas fireplace, it looks awesome when the flames reflect off of the glass and matches perfectly with my flooring and walls, it also helps draw heat and keeps the house warm

I'm happy with this fire glass! I followed Stanbroil's calculations when estimating how much fire glass to buy. It's pretty accurate, and I'm glad they had that in their description. I knew I wanted some blue, but didn't want it to be overpowering. The combo of aqua blue, platinum, and copper was perfect for me. Furthermore, each color comes in separate plastic bags in case you want to customize your color blend a little. It's a good idea to clean the rocks first as there is some dust and finer glass shards. Some recommend a strainer, but I didn't want to waste the ones we had for the kitchen (if you end up doing this, do not use that strainer for cooking anymore). Instead I drilled holes into the bottom of a gallon milk jug and then cut the top open. I placed my glass in the jug and washed it with a hose over a plastic basin. All the dust and finer glass pieces filtered into the basin and the glass shined after the wash. Most of the pieces were good 1/2" sizes. Some were larger and some were smaller, but I think this variance will be common with most fire glass. I wore rubber gloves the whole time I was working with the glass. Hope this helps!

The use of fireglass for gas fireplace is quite a brilliant one (I have executed my own idea of application, see photo).For that particular way you will need lot less than was in the package, but of course 'proper' way of using is filling up the whole bottom of the fireplace... so for that you will need lot more than in the package.Anyway, as other say, the colors came sorted oit, each in separate bag.They are NOT sharp and easy to handle by hand.Very happy with the purchase, highly recommend.

I very much like the colors (blue mix). Looks very pretty in the pit. For now I have the lava rocks as well as the glass pieces

It would have been better if the bag was a little larger quantity as I could use more rocks but two bags would be too much.The color option was perfect for our fire tableGreat quality also

The reflective coating on the glass is conductive, so it interferes with the igniter. Each color comes in a separate bag, so you need to mix it yourself. There’s a few pieces that popped out of the fire upon first use, after which is all good. Looks great.

The media could not be loaded.  We have had this old fire table for some time now. We divided to give it a new look and replaced the lava rock with this fire glass. I absolutely love it!! Would recommend this to anyone that wants to upgrade their fire table. It also comes in different colours. Great buy and great price, I used 10 lbs for mine.
