Great for Snow Village
Got this for my Snow Village vehicles but this can be thinned out to use for smaller villages or dioramas. It is very useful for filling in the village’s look and dimensions.

Great, but you'll need more than you think
My wife was the progenitor of the Department 56 stuff in our house. We actually inherited it from her mother, who was an avid collector. Once we had it, I quickly became a fan. I now look forward to setting up little villages all over our house after Thanksgiving every year. She recently purchased this for me for some of our more commercial setups (shops, commercial buildings, etc.). I initially was really worried because it came rolled up pretty tight. I thought it would pucker and not lay flat. That was only the case for the internal most portion (maybe 1"). It cut easily and stayed right were it was placed. I would suggest maybe purchasing two if you have several scenes you want to add it to because it didn't go as far as I though. This was primarily because when you have to start cutting pieces to go directly to steps, it goes pretty fast. I was very impressed at how thick it is and how easily it laid out. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who has the Department 56 Snow Village.

Good quality as usual from Department 56
It looked a little too fake/simple/“perfect” for use in my Christmas village. So I distressed it a bit with sandpaper and painted it a little with acrylic paint.Wish it was wider and longer.

Too expensive but we'll built.
Nicely constructed.

Bumpy Road
The road material looks good, but it is almost impossible to get it to lay flat. Our Snow Village has really bumpy roads. We are taking down the Snow Village for the year and I am going to leave the road on the floor under a bed with a weight laying on it. Hopefully, by next Christmas it will lay flat.

A Great Road Path!
I purchased this for my 12 feet long village display, therefore I have numerous roads throughout my display. So realistic and made very well. I use my husband's staple gun to secure it on my table. A great thing to own and show off!

Used it to make a brick wall, turned out to look really good
Easy to use. Used a dab of silicone to hold the corners in place, worked great.
