Jim Dunlop Body & Fingerboard Cleaning Kit (6503)

Simply the right choice. Purchased these items for decades! Always go for the best products you can afford. My experience is - Jim Dunlop products do not disappoint. For me, this stuff will last years! I'm not a luthier, just another guitar player who likes tinkering with my instruments - different strings, tunings, cleaning, adjusting, etc. Highly recommend product for cleaning and polishing neck and body of acoustic guitars.

An amazing little combo of products: 2 microfiber cloths, formula 65 for the fretboard and it's companion body conditioner. Formula 64 for the frets impressed me most as I had bought a all koa ukulele secondhand that was parched for 4 years before making it's way to me. It was so thirsty that the frets stuck out sharply and caught my hand and the board itself had cracks throughout. I applied the lemon oil and allowed my uke to drink it in before buffing any extra away. Completely restored, color deepened, tarnish off the frets and thirsty no more.I had tried the music nomad products before this and they were lacking in every way. The emperor's new clothes. Their tools might be good (I like their dusters, esp. the 2 pk that gets under strings, around nuts, gently over the bridge and saddle), but not their fretboard and body conditioner.

I had a Less Paul (not a typo its china) that had been sitting with rusted strings. The strings had left thick dark outlines on the fredboard. I almost puked scraping them off with a guitar pick - and they were still stained - despite dirty to start with.Ordered this kit, mainly because it came with a cloth. I didnt realize the lemon oil was actually applied from the bottle - by "dabbing" it onto the fret board through a felt tip on the bottle. Seemed to work okay - i did feel bad about slapping my fret board with plastic bottle regardless.Gooped it up to the point of almost standing in lemon oil or whatever this really is.Let it sit for 5 minutes and then started RUBBING. Each edge of fret, a pass one way, a pass the opposite, then swirly. Next fret - rinse and repeated.After this i got as much off as i could with a clean part of the cloth. Let it sit - it began to get less "wet" looking. I got bored and applied another thick coat and did the same process again.Long story short - it works pretty well.from ashy with literal gunk stains to Moisturized + thriving.The "polish" is okay too. The didnt want you to spray it directly on the guitar which is what i wanted to do really badly. Kinda rude on their part dont you think? :PEDIT - one of the bottles started leaking - saturing the original box i keep it in. My cat was sniffing it heavy so i had to put it outside. Needless to say - everything got ruined over time.=/ It worked good but i literally got one use out of it due to bad luck

I got this kit because I ran out of my guitar honey and preferred guitar body cleaner. I have been playing since 90 and dunlop FB oil has been highly regarded for at least as long. The oil seems to work well and penetrates the fingerboard pores exceptionally. Application is extremely easy and the lemon smell, while apparent, isn't overwhelming or nauseating. The body cleaner works GREAT!! I have a Yamaha a3r in tobacco burst that shows the forearm prints everytime I use the guitar. It doesn't take very many uses before funk starts to build up on those areas and look really nasty. As bad as it's gotten I haven't needed to spend more than 2 minutes cleaning with dunlop body cleaner to make the guitar look flawlessly reflective and reborn. I would recommend this kit to anyone looking for quality, SILICONE FREE products that are safe to use on even the most expensive guitars!

Already experienced with using these products. This pack is a good value. The lemon oil works perfectly on my fretboards and the polish makes the finish look great. I'll be buying these again.

It came with cloths which was a nice bonus. I’ve never cleaned my guitar before and this stuff worked really well.
