The rope is used to anchor a 21.5ft boat on the rapidly moving Columbia river. The 150 ft length was surprising compact in the anchor locker with sturdy attachment points. The 3/8 inch is plenty strong enough to hold this boat against current. The material does not hurt or cut your hands when you handle the anchor line. This rope works as advertised and is a great value.

I wanted a new boat anchor line as my other line would tangle and knot easily. I find this rope to be of good quality but doesn't knot should it bet tied up. The material dries fast and the carabiner function well and doesn't give me concern it will get stuck or break causing me to lose my anchor. Happy with the purchase.

I did a lot of research looking for a new anchor line. I wanted appropriate line strength & length for our boat.This 3/8" Double braided nylon has a 820lb working load, and 4K breaking strength!Good size and length for our 23' boat. I use a 25' anchor buddy between our anchor and this line. The thimble makes the anchor buddy connection solid and chafe free. I don't use the stainless steel snap hook to attach the anchor end (anchor buddy in this case), I use a screw shackle for that connection. Instead I use the shackle to clip to a D ring, quick and easy. I've used all 100', and I've tied off mid line without issue. The nylon ties easily, and will hold a mid line loop without slipping.When it's time to stow for longer term storage, I just throw it out on the dock for a little bit. Being black, it dries quickly in the sun. After it is good to go and coils easily.Highly recommended!

A good line. Should last

I haven't had a chance to use it on the water yet, but I'm impressed with how light weight the entire line is, considering it's heft and metal lining in the loop. We look forward to using it next summer and very pleased with the purchase.

Exactly what I needed for current and future uses!

I am an avid spearo diving in New England all year. I shore dive in some choppy water around rocks and barnacles all the time. I bought one role for use on my Banks Board (burly boogie board for spearfishing) and used it all last year and into this year without any issues. In fact, the line performed a lot better than I expected. I dive off the Banks Board and drop anchor along the shore multiple times per dive- meaning I am in the water rolling up line, stuffing it into the mesh pocket on my Banks Board, moving, then dropping anchor again. This line will sink (which has benefits and detriments) but it is not prone to tangles, if it does the braid allows easy untangling, and the basic knots I tie around the board at the surface hold well. I have another anchor line for my SUP and this one out performs that one in every way. Take it from a diver with plenty of experience with this product: This is a buy!

We buy cheap, imported, look-alike line for non-essential tasks. But comparing the two side-by-side the quality, workmanship, strength, and durability that this is a superior rope. In our minds there's only one question: To which one do you want to trust your boat?
