Nice
I am 64 years old back in the day high quality sound required big speakers with high power amplifiers, I guess things have changed. I have never cared for any kind of ear bud thingies because back in the day they all sounded like poo, why bother. My pride and joy was a mid 85's top shelf Yamaha amp with a pair of klipsh towers. High quality stereo sound for sure. That was a bad ass set up. Wife hated it. Burglars re leaved me of that rig so I bought a klipsh surround sound set up to pacify my wife. (But honey they sound so good) The surround sound system is fine but not quite the quality of those towers, just saying.I currently have audio-technica ATH-M50 headphones for discrete listening, they sound very good but not perfect and a little slack (a lot actually) on the base. But I think for the $150 price I paid I got what I paid for I like the headphones, a good value I'd say.I see the youngsters with their ear buds and think how convenient but there is no way there is any kind of quality sound coming out of something that small, but what if I'm wrong.I don't want to spent $200 on Bluetooth earbuds unless they are really good.I find these klipsh wired T5M wired buds and find that they use the same technology for the Bluetooth so same sound more money less wire. OK lets give them a try, if I like them Bluetooth buds may be in my future.I am amazed, these things have big sound the mid and high range is excellent. When I first started listening to them they seemed a bit bright with very anemic bass however after burning in the drivers the sound has improved noticeably, mid and hi range no longer sounds bright but very accurate, and the bass is much better.A good fit in the ear definitely improves bass and I found the large covers to work better for me the medium ones which were a bit fussy but the large ones pop right in nice and tight. The burn in was also important overall the buds sound better after burn in.There is big sound here for $45 bucks no joke, you will not get sub woofer thumping bass but the bass is good. For $45 dollars I did not expect teeth rattling bass but it is good.Just so you will know I have ordered some 1More Quad buds for more than twice the money just so see if big bass can really be reproduced in a freaking earbud. Once I have them I will add to this post. Honestly I will be amazed if the 1More Quad buds can justify the extra $125, these T5M buds are seriously good. They definitely sound better than the audio-technica headphones, noticeably better in the low med and high ranges. This old dog just learned a new trick.

Good sound for small ear canals
After trying several different earphones I finally found a match for my small ear canals! What a relief to put them in my ears and have them stay! Even running they stay right where they should. Thank you Klipsch. The sound is great for me.

Comfy, but need more bass.
I have used Klipsch in-ear headphones for years: they are really comfortable and typically give exceptional sound quality for in-ear headphones. However, I am somewhat disappointed by the sound from this set. Compared to previous ones the sound balance is very different: much less bass. They give really clear audio in the higher range and are probably great for voice, but they are less satisfying for listening to music than previous versions.

Fallen from grace
Klipsch earbuds used to be my go to recommendation for the cheapest wired listening with surprising sound. But at this stage they are essentially not recommendable even at a very affordable price. They sound good still in 2023, but nothing stands out. Noise isolation is good but not great. The cable noise is unforgivable given the cable itself is also extremely cheap. It looks substantial in images, but is a thin, wiry mess that gets tangled more easily than anything I’ve ever seen. Without Klipsch resurrecting to rerelease some of their best buds, these will only continue to lose value as wireless sound quality continues to improve. At a certain point, better sound quality doesn’t actually sound better when the slightest movement delivers an echo directly into your ear. I have another pair of $30 headphones with virtually no cable noise and the cable feels decent. It was just a bad cable design at the time and is even more head scratching in an increasingly wireless tech world.

3X the price and 1/3 the sound quality!
Okay, I was (am) looking for wired earbuds to be used with my T.V. amp. My husband is hard of hearing and so am I, but hubby needs it way loud, so I was hoping (against hope) for earbuds that I could turn the volume up and down with the neat little clicker on the wire. But I also need good sound and not so they don't fill my ears so I could hear hubby if he needed me. I was given some headphones (way hot) that do all of that but they're HOT and soon after putting them on, unbearably uncomfortable. So I bought these Klipschs (my T.V. amp uses Klipschs speakers and I like them), partly because of the "T5M dynamic drivers" (reading that drivers' size and dynamics is what creates great sound quality), and partly because they claimed volume control. I decided to splurge as they're somewhat pricey at over $35. I've been using Jlab earbuds and the sounds is good (better than good). Today I compared the Klipschs with the Jlabs and OH MY GOSH! The sound of the Jlabs is so much better! And Amazon offers them at $9.47! Why anyone would settle for the most disappointing sound of Klipschs when they can have the full concert hall sound of Jlabs for 1/3 the cost?!!! Oh by the way neither have volume control on iDevices or my amp! Good grief! Oh and I'll add, over the years I've tried so many different kinds of earbuds but nothing so far compares to Jlabs!
