I was very skeptical when I received this balance. 3000g max with 0.01g resolution for $259!?! and it comes without a leveling bubble? I was prepared to send it back honestly and get another Sartorius. Those are "real" balances and cost around $1,200. I happened to have my balance calibration guy in for the analytical balance. He works with lab balances for a living and has 28 years of experience. He gave it a professional calibration and evaluation. It took the calibration with no problem and he said it was a good, capable balance. I'm a chemist with 25 years of experience but his opinion can't be beat. This is a good balance and an incredible bargain.

will not hold a zero. bounces all over the place as far as readings go...especially in grams. mine also did not come with any leveling bubble

These scales are ok for everyday general use. They are very affordable considering the specifications, however if accuracy is critical for you, look elsewhere. We purchased 2 of theses scales, however we were not able to calibrate these through 2 independent scale certification companies, therefore they are excluded from our lab and to be used for reference only. The adage of "you get what you pay for" definitely holds true here.

Arrived with wall charger free to bounce around the box. It dented the display, but seemed not to affect the quality of readings. The only negative aspect of this item is that it tends to consume batteries even when turned off and not in use ... although very easy to resolve by simply removing the batteries after each use. Excellent product, considering the very low price.

Very nice unit for a great price. Fast shipping and works just as advertised. Accuracy is nice and seems to be very repeatable. It works well for what I need.

Not good item. Quality is low & weighting scale is not accurate. It makes lots of mistakes. Not worth of buying.

Seems like it was refurbished. I have purchased 3 of these before and the display among a couple other things seems different. Not as good as the other ones.
