BEST THING I HAVE FOUND FOR MY BRACES!
So I read the majority of the reviews before I bought these. Quite a few state that they don’t work but one person said you had to be patient and work with them. That person was correct! I had just gotten braces and my mouth was killing me so for the price I figured why not?I got them and went to work on reading instructions. Then started working on customizing them to fit my braces. Several brackets are close together, so I just cut the tabs completely off. They work like a charm! I wear them every night, and wore them after I got my braces adjusted the first time. I know they will probably wear out before I get my braces off, but I will get more. They are a little bulky, but I don’t care. The comfort is worth it to me!

TOO BULKY, stick with wax
I got this as an alternative to putting wax on my braces at night. This was NOT supposed to make my mouth feel worse. I put both top and bottom pieces on and almost immediately was feeling more irritation in my mouth than not using anything. Tried for a couple of hours before bed and couldn't stand it, took the top piece out and had more relief from that than using the darn thing. Slept with the bottom, but woke up with a ridiculous headache because of the irritation that it was supposed to be helping. More issues that not using anything. I will be sticking to wax from now on, it goes where I want it, stays put when I get it set and is smooth and does not irritate my cheeks and gums more than my braces. That was supposed to be the point. Waste of $10. Don't do it, just find wax you like.

Easy to use, but not perfect...
They pop right on, but only if your braces are spaced evenly enough for that to happen. If your braces are new/teeth still spaced oddly or in odd position,s these might not work for you. My braces are brand new, so there's a few spots that won't attach. Also, they aren't long enough to go around the sides, only mostly the front teeth (would have been nice to make them extra long and just let the customer trim them). But they worked well enough for me to wear them while I sleep. I'm wearing ceramics, so dental wax is pretty much worthless for me in most circumstances because those sharp ceramics just cut right through everything. But these have allowed me to do one thing: sleep normally. It's kinda nice not having the pillow smash my cheeks up against my ceramics - I now get to wake up without my inner cheeks being all chewed up. These are also useful for when I've eaten a good meal and my inner cheeks got mangled by the braces, so I pop these in when my cheeks just need a break. For anyone wondering, no, you can't wear these and eat food at the same time. You can drink though. One other caveat - wearing these makes your lips stick out, and during the night, your mouth will often be open and get dry. You can also drool all over the pillow because of these. For this reason alone, I'm shifting over to a different product, it's because these are just to bulky.

Here to buy it again
I never want to lose these! They have been perfect for me. I use them at night while I sleep only. Like another reviewer suggested, I had to trim the length on mine and I had to clip out a few of the prongs that attach to your braces for a better fit. You really only need these to connect in a few places to have them stay on all night. They give my cheeks and lips a break from the constant contact - I rarely have any irritation after I started using these - and I don’t have to worry about sleeping and smushing my cheeks on my braces. Exactly what I needed.

Not sure
I was so excited to get these, but they don’t stay on your braces. It’s a great idea. I wish they could perfect it cause it definitely stayed on when I slept, but you can’t wear them anytime else.

Great for overnight, but can't wear both at the same time while sleeping
I've had my braces long enough to where I don't need to use anything during the day, but it's still absolutely necessary at night. I was getting tired of using large globs of wax to cover all my brackets so I looked all over for a simple mouth guard. I was looking for one that 1) Covers top and bottom from gums 2) Light weight 3) nothing in the middle to 'bite' on. I did some research and decided to give up on trying a sports guard, but then I kept finding these in the recommended items. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the results and definitely think it's worth the $10ish they cost.Pro:- They snap on super easy. I was worried cuz lots of other reviews said they had problems with them falling off, but it hasn't been an issue. Sure, I had to trim off some of the grippy things where it didn't quite align with my braces, but it was easy and quickly fixed the problem.- Fit over all my brackets. I guess I'd say my jaw is fairly average for a lady, but I will also point out that my brackets don't go all the way to the back teeth- Not as much saliva as I was lead to believe. Again, I ONLY use these at night to sleep, so I'm not doing much talking or eating- Light weight and easy to adjust. They were already trying to snap into place when I first tried to put them on, but they did still slip a bit, even after cutting and adjusting. They stay still throughout the night though, so no biggie- Were a bit uncomfortable to wear on my lower jaw at first cuz my top teeth were pushing down on it. Prolly wanna be careful about that, esp since out teeth are actively moving at this stage, but thankfully once mine weren't so tender it got a lot easier to wear. It's nice that they can kind of swivel down a bit in the frontCon:- If you have a full set of brackets, these probably won't cover all of them. I don't have on the last 1 or 2 teeth and it covers them perfectly, but if I had more, these would be too short- They fit nicely over my top teeth, but were too thick and I couldn't close my mouth. I imagine if I were to sleep with top + bottom, I'd drool all over the pillow. Luckily my top brackets aren't too bad and require minimal wax, so it's a decent compromise- A little box or case to store them in would have been niceFinal thoughts: These are exactly what I was looking for and they're super easy to use. It's too bad the top one is to, idk, I guess thick? so I can't completely close my mouth without making an effort. Might not be a problem for everyone but hey, these have already saved me a ton of wax and are perfect for protecting my cheeks overnight, and I'm glad I got them. And they're cheap enough that I can just buy another pair in case my teeth shift too much.
