I bought it seeing the other reviews. But I wanted to believe the one I'd get wouldn't be as bad. And I was proven wrong. It's not as cracked yet as others have gotten them but it's still cracked. Luckily it's a solid book so I think it can last a while but it still sucks. Was meant as a present for my little brother and for it to come like this kinda got me bummed out. But I still feel like he'll love it. It's not in the worst condition and everything is still intact so hopefully it can last that way for a while.

Super book !

It's great for reading the stories of the World Cup, but hopeless for anyone with a love of stats. Results and group tables are presented in tiny text, as an afterthought almost, and for most matches even information like the names of the scorers is not provided.Selected matches have slightly more information, but even things like team line ups, attendance and location are not provided. The scores for most games are presented only with three letter country codes, so the reader has to work out what NIR v TCH means. Not a problem for me, but not easy for kids.Overall, a beautifully presented book but little evidence that anyone with a deep love of the game was involved in its creation.

Essential book for anyone interested in football and the history of the World Cup.Fascinating facts and figures - highly recommended.

Son absolutely loves this book. It’s excellent quality and a fantastic book. So much to read and look out and feels very expensive.

Quite happy with purchase. However i find print/type face is quite small in certain specific sections of the book.
