Perfect for a 7 year old girl
This is pretty much like every other notebook like this. The lock is hard to close, the keys are easy to lose. It’s the perfect gift for a 7 year old who has 50 million notebooks and diaries and a short attention span. Two thumbs up.

Not a good value for the money
Got a similar item also from Amazon that was the same price that was much nicer. But to Bought two diaries for twinGirls and wanted them to be similar but not the same...this one was not nearly as nice as the other one.

A true secret book for a 9 year old
I have 2 granddaughters that are 9 and i could see their brains plotting writing down their deepest secrets in these books
