The supports for this tabletop ironing board are a little wobbly when pressing down on it. The batting is thin and in a short while the lattice under it makes itself felt. An elastic trim in addition to the string around the removable fabric cover would have held it down better. For doorstep delivery, the Ikea thin plastic covering is completely inadequate, and was torn in two places, resulting in staining and tearing of the fabric inside. Unfortunately I could not see those until I removed the plastic, else would have returned it.

It is too small and not very stable. Buy only if you will iron small clothes.

This ironing board is ideal for daily use and for ironing on a table or bed. It has two legs that are foldable and can add a bit of height to the board when needed. This IKEA board is well designed and sturdy and made of top quality materials. We have been using this board for a couple of months now and have had no issues. Would recommend it for sure!TIP: The board will require less maintenance if you cover it with a sack like cover and store it.
