Love this machine...we added ice water and let it run while the chefs are cooking and frying up in the kitchen. If we treat our employees with comfort, the food will taste better and the customers satisfied with good food :) This machine is quite loud, but you really can’t hear it if the kitchen vent is on and everyone shuffling around. A great feature is the option to swivel side to side keeping everyone cool instead just standing still. Also, it has three speed levels to choose. And I noticed that you don’t need to hook up any hose through a window because it’s an EVAPORATIVE AIR COOLER :) Just make sure you add ice and water to the unit (top part; no need to bend over or anything) and the unit has a water meter to let you know how much to add . Very simple!

We live in Arizona. We wanted to cool off our patio during the hot Sumner months. It works great. A little noisy but does the job. Keep in mind, this is NOT an AC unit. It will cool the air but by only a few degrees. Living in Arizona anything helps. Glad we got it.

THIS IS NOT AN AIR CONDITIONER. One must have open air, ie small opening for air to move through to cooler.I use it in the garage, crack the base of the garage door about 3 inches and let it do it's thing. It is well over 90 to 95 with extremely high humidity ( coastal Virginia) and it is very comfortable. I keep it at medium fan speed. The only improvement that I would suggest is a kit to attach a hose full time. The hopper for water easily fills to accommodate an 8 hour period. I would recommend and buy it again.

We love this so much we ordered a second one - wonderful investment for desert dwellers - makes outdoor patio/poolside swim days doable in 100 degree plus weather. Very easy to assemble just screw wheels on, plug in, add water, ice packs, turn on and enjoy. Tucson, Arizona

It great for hot dry climates open a couple of widow's or a door so your room or house will get humid it's not meant for humid climates
