great blade. I have had mine for several months now and it still cuts well. first few uses it was pretty much to the skin,almost as good as a razor shave, after it dulled just a bit its almost to the skin but not as good as the first few uses it has stayed that way for several months now though so id say thats about what to expect from it, ALMOST a razor shave but you can feel some hair stubble,I like to keep my head shaved with little to no stubble so my retarded hairline isn't obvious and this does the trick!

I'm a true blue Oster user, you can't go wrong, I've ordered generic ceramic ones, its just not the same, they jam up on my and that slows me down, so you want to cut it like butter, get the real deal, an Oster blade.

Been cutting / buzzing my own head since I was 14, over 50 now. I have always stuck with Oster, but have never gone shorter than a #10. This is the closest you will get without actually using a razor or a shaver. Admittedly, I got this to allow a little more time in between cuts without getting too scruffy. I love it!!!

I couldn't decide if this deserved three stars or four. I opted for four because eventually it worked. Trouble is that it doesn't cut as closely as I expected. Worked fine on the sides, but when it came to the top and back of my head, I had to go over the same areas repeatedly because it just wouldn't cut everything. After awhile I got most of the hair off, but I still had to go in with a trifoil electric razor to get rid of some spots. Maybe it'll work better if I have my wife cut my hair. When all is said and done, I ended up with a slightly closer head shave than I used to get with my Wahl Balding Clippers (which cost about a third the price of my Oster Model 10), but it took some effort.

It's better than wet shaving. This blade on my classic 76 clippers is my new favorite way to shave my balding head. It's almost as close as a razor, like next day close, with little to no irritation compared to when I wet shave with a quality safety razor. I also use it to line my beard and sideburns. The blade seems to be nicely machined and high quality, as long as it lasts this review will remain 5 stars.

I've been shaving my head with 0 blades for 19 years now. Only recently, when searching for a new blade for my Oster 76, did I realize that a 00000 blade existed. It's definitely a closer cut, which is nice because that saves me a few days before I feel like I need to buzz again. It's also helpful when I plan on using a razor to follow up after using my Oster, as the razor blade gets gummed up with hair less frequently. I will definitely be purchasing this over 0 blades in the future, and if it's anything like my previous Oster blades, it will give years of use if properly maintained (aka lazily cleaned and oiled every year or so).

This blade broke after single use.

I want a skin fade and hoped this would get close to transition to the 0000 blade. It pulls and does not cut hair rather cuts the scalp. I oiled, tried powder, various angles, cut hair with 0000 blade first and still unusable. Not sure where all the high reviews are coming from but this is the only blade out of all the sizes I have that does this. Buy an Andis shaver for a skin fade and not this.
