I bought this immediately after reading a Wirecutter review. It was clearly a very influential review. The spread arrived quickly and was not broken or old. Really good pistachio flavor and a pleasant consistency. I would have liked a larger bottle that would obviously cost more as the ingredients used seem to be really high quality.

Not at all what I expected from a nut spread with no sugar listed among the ingredients. THIS IS VERY SWEET.Am I saying it is not delicious? No. It IS delicious, hence the five stars. But it's comparable to Nutella, whereas I was expecting something more like peanut butter or almond butter. It definitely falls in the dessert category of the food pyramid.It doesn't taste strongly of pistachios. In fact, the flavor is remarkably similar to halaweh, the Lebanese tahini-based candy. Not sure where the very intense sweetness is coming from... Buy it if you want to splurge on a yummy dessert spread, but know what to expect.

We were introduced to pistachio butter/spread in Italy. And now thanks to this company we have a scrumptious taste of Italy at home. I have purchased pistachio butters from Italy, California, and Greece. Bronte, Italy is the famous pistachio growing area. This butter/spread is without a doubt the best. We continue to purchase it on a regular basis. It's wonderful on toast, ice cream, shortbread cookies and biscotti. Don't let the odd color influence you. If the butter is bright green, then food coloring was added. Yuk. After you try pistachio butter, you'll never be satisfied with boring peanut, almond or hazelnut/Nutella. Treat yourself. If you like pistachios, you'll devour this butter. It's money well spent to purchase the best imported product.

As C. Stanwyck said below, this is very sweet. It's also sublimely, mind-blowingly delicious, but just as s/he said, how can it be so sweet when there's no sugar in it?Really good question. I, too, checked the ingredients--nope, nary a mention of sugar. However, upon closer inspection. the nutrition label states that in just 2 tablespoons (one serving) of this product, there are 17 grams of sugar, which includes 7 grams of "added sugars." There's no sugar listed in the ingredients, but every 2 tablespoons has 17 grams of sugar in it. Quick refresher course, a tablespoon is 3 teaspoons, so 2 tablespoons = 6 teaspoons. One teaspoon of sugar is the equivalent of 4.12 grams, let's call it 4. Therefore, 17 grams of sugar is about 4 teaspoons. According to the nutrition label, each serving of this deliciousness is 2/3 sugar.Wha--??Skimmed milk is basically sugar water (lactose and water) so that's some sugar, and dried skimmed milk is going to concentrate those sugars. Pistachios are some of the sweetest nuts there are with a pretty high sugar content, but do either of those account for the "added sugars"? Not sure what the answer is, but in any case, those of us who noticed that this stuff tastes very sweet were right. It's about 2/3 sweet!If you have high blood glucose or are diabetic, you'll want to ration this very carefully. However, if you're just looking for something that is really, really delicious, you've found it. And it's too expensive to eat too much of it, anyway! : )

This stuff is AMAZING!!! So delicious, I keep it refrigerated and it is very easy to spread. It also goes well in a spoon. Haha Good quality ingredients make for an excellent product. You’ve been warned - may be habit forming!

This is delicious , but very expensive. $17 for just 7 oz.Yeah , I know , some lame 99 year old widow handpicks this , etc etc.

Well, I’m not an expert on pistachio butter, but I quite liked this. My son requested it, he spread it on toast, And said it just tasted like Nutella. I thought it was better than that however and I love the consistency. I dip My cookies into it. Rectangle wafer cookies are the best dipped into this. Sweet and satisfying after dinner. One is all you need 👌

Great quality pistachio spread. I’ve been traveling in Italy last month and tried awesome pistachio paste which i couldn't find on Amazon, so i’ve purchased this brand but i was a bit worried until i received them! Seller is very helpful and a nice lady, the spread exactly tastes like what i had in Italy! Very rich and delicious! Delivery was very quick even the seller told me it might take a while :) I will def purchase again!

It took long time to come. it is really delicious but too much sugar. Premium butter from nuts need to be sugar free or have the least amount of sugar. Pistachio is super delicious nuts and really does not need sugar to make it more tasty
