Good stuff
Never used any bamboo steamer before, but I wanted extra sturdiness so I bought these with metal bindings.It feels sturdy, although it doesn't look perfect inside. It doesn't hard weird smelss, I've used it 3 times so far, and there is no sign of bending or braking so far.I would not wash it in a dishwasher, don't risk it, just use it correctly and you won't need to do more then rinsing.

Nice little steamer
I am just so happy with this! And the liners are great! I bought this to make bao buns but I also steam veg in it! It’s so easy to use and prevents the veg from being soggy!

The round lined bamboo on one of the basket lifted away from the ring.
I couldn't sent back the bamboo basket as I throw away the box. As you can see I am not happy with the product, perhaps I was just unlucky to received a faulty on, which means I can't say its sturdy. I am ever so sorry I don't give bad reviews, but in this case I have to give one as I am being honest, as can been see on camera.

5 Sterne nach erstem Eindruck
Der Dämpfer sieht sehr gut verarbeitet und wertig aus. Ich habe noch nichts darin zubereitet, deshalb kann ich momentan nur etwas zum ersten Eindruck sagen. Ich setzte die Bewertung zu gegebener Zeit fort ;-)

Excellent stainless steel bands and sturdier than usual bamboo design, great!
This is exactly the steaming set I hoped for. It’s not too big or too small. I had a hard time figuring out the sizes from the empirical measurements given so I was relieved. I put my hand in the picture for context (I do have small hands, for your personal reference)The main problem with steamers is that they always seem to come apart. The stainless steel Banding on this is super high quality and works better than I had hoped.I like the rice paper liners, they make it easy to clean. The bottoms are a lot sturdier than steamers that I’ve had in the past which makes it easier to clean too.I will definitely be investing in silicon liners so that I don’t have to buy more rice liners but 50 free liners and 2 free pairs of chopsticks is pretty cool.There are a lot of steamers, some of them are really overpriced and some of them I’ve seen at markets for $5 and they’re selling them for $50-$100. These are decently priced, especially for the stainless steel bands that make them substantially stronger. There is quite a bit of steel and I hope to be happy with these for a long time.
