Women's Oceanside UPF 50+ Active Swim Board Short (Reg & Plus Sizes)

I'm 5'6" and approx. 140ish lbs and these in a size 10 were perfect! I have always hated my legs and these short were great at helping me hide my insecurities. They hit just above the knee and they were perfect in the waist and butt area.

Kravi's wife review: I wear a size 12 and I bought a size 12. I am a lumpy ish middle-aged woman hence why I wanted the coverage to my knees. They do just that. I have a pear shape and the heavier legs and they were not tight at any point. Waist would probably be too big for a woman without a pooch but if you have one, and I do, then they fit just fine. Belly covered. Wide hips covered. Cellulite to just above the knees covered. I would have given them a 5 star if they made me look smaller than I really am but unfortunately they make me look exactly how I am...hah. I would buy them again.

I bought these for a vacation to Aruba. I wanted something to swim and walk around in. These filled the bill. They dried quicker than my husband or son's swim trunks. Not see-through at all. Went from ocean to restaurant without any concerns. Highly recommend. The fit is fine. The legs opened slightly more wide than pictured but not too baggy. I am a size 6 and thats what I ordered. It fit fine (5'2''/126 126lbs)

These shorts are cut like men's version. The leg opening is not wide therefore fabric would not flap around in the water. The waist sits low by the hip bone. I got a size larger than my usual to be more comfortable. I really like the length because it is longer than typical women's shorts but not as long as men's trunks. It gives protection and modesty without making my legs look stumpy. Quick drying and light weight fabric is easy to care and to travel with. No wonder the surfers live in this type of shorts.

These shorts are quite big. Here are my measurements, hope this is helpful: 5'4", 123 lbs., 32.75" at the hip bones, 38.5" at the widest part of my hips. I normally wear a 5 in junior's, or 4 / 6 in women's. I ordered both a 4 and a 6 knowing I'd return one, and it turns out both were too large. The 4 fit perfectly at the hip bones, but sagged on the butt (despite my rounder butt): just not terribly flattering. The 6 was just HUGE all around, like a circus tent.Also, unlike this apparently tall model, the shorts fall just above my kneecap: I would have preferred the lower thigh length as pictured.The fabric is a bit stiff and chalky-feeling, but this might have gone away had I washed them (returned both instead). A tiny annoyance: the velcro enclosure under the drawstring had the scratchy side pointing out, which instantly snags the shoelace-like drawstring when you open the velcro. If they had just sewn the scratchy velcro side facing your body, this would not have been an issue. Poor design.True to color (Grape), and the front looks nice. I found O'Neill's A-Frame men's boardshorts in size 30 (19 in. outseam) fit me FAR better, with nicer material, and they had a more shapely butt that fell along the right curves.The pictures included are of the size 4 Grape boardshorts.

Kana's board shorts are nice quality for a great price. If you're buying online, sizing will be the hard part. All the reviews state they run small, and the sizing chart would indicate that they run *really* small, but they don't run as small as one would think. I wear a size 4 jean at old navy, and a size 6 in these. The difference is that jeans have stretch, and these have none. I suggest ordering in multiple sizes and returning the ones that don't fit. (They have free returns, and the amazon process is easy.)

These are really cute shorts. I always have trouble finding pants/shorts that fit both my waist and my thighs and these are no exception. Standing up they fit great everywhere but when I sit down the waist is slightly big/has a gap in the back and the legs are a little tight. I’m keeping them because they’re super cute and overall the fit is ok.UPDATE: After surfing in these I’ve decided their cuteness doesn’t make up for the fit. If you don’t have stick legs these aren’t for you. They become extremely tight in water and actually hold water in. I’d have to pull them from from thighs when I’d get out of the water so it could escape.

Lovely shorts but HUGE for the supposed size. US size 6 which should be a UK 10 are at least a UK 12, possibly 14. Order a size smaller than usual!

There are a lot of things I like about these shorts, including the material and length, but a couple of things that aren't so great.The opening at the front is limited by the way there is a mesh that holds the flaps together (with a final velcro closure). This is problematic if your hips are wider than your waist. No zipper or buttons. The velcro also catches the laces so it is a pain in the neck when you put them on. Not sure how long it will last either. Also, there are no side-slit pockets - only the button pocket on the leg.Overall these are ok, but won't be my go-to shorts for the summer because of the lack of pockets.

the inside label is 2XLand outer tag says 1XL , I wanted the 1XL as this happened weeks ago when I ordered 2xl by mistake , they were way too big, I then returned them, ordered the 14 whih were too tight and had to return them.. so realized I needed 1XL.. so now I ordered the 1XL and the wrong size was sent... frustrating however will be worth it, as the style and material are exactly what I want.. just struggling with size....

I love them! Material is really great, dries real fast, comfortable, I can move freely, they are my second pair, third if you count my son's!The perfect bathing shorts for paddle board!
