Really takes the cat hair off of the furniture.
I was a little reluctant to buy it because there were a few negative reviews. I need to pick up a lot of cat hair from the furniture so I thought I would give it a try. I love it! Compared to my regular vacuum it does a wonderful job. The hair is cleaned up readily because of the rotating brush with prongs on it and there are two speeds if needed. It is easy to empty and the battery charge lasts long enough to suit my needs. It charges quickly too. I am sold on this hand-held fur duster.

Lightweight and well balanced. Easy to use, and powerful enough to do a good job. Easy to clean and store. The charge seems to last a long time. I have two staircases and cleaned both on a single charge. Really like the powered brush! I would recommend you clean the filter after every use. All in all I think this is a great product at a reasonable price. If you have pets and stairs, you should seriously consider getting this.

Powerful, Handy, and My New Arm Workout
This Dustbuster is great, and I’m very happy with it. I bought it to make vacuuming the stairs easier because hauling the full-size vacuum up and down was starting to feel like a CrossFit session. The brush attachment works well on the stairs, and the suction is impressive on both low and high settings (easily picked up the spider my cats had found/terrorized/abandoned). It picked up fluff easily. It came with a .25 charge and I was able to fully charge it in a few hours. The size is great and similar to the old fashioned dustbusters. My only complaint is that the battery is located in the handle, which makes it a bit heavy on the wrist. This is not a problem for up to a minute, but after that it starts to feel heavy. I started wondering if I was vacuuming or training for a weight lifting competition. I tried switching hands, but my non-dominant arm was like, “Absolutely not.” I do not have too many stairs, and I was able to power through for the 5 minutes it took me to do the stairs. I don't believe i would have been willing to go much longer than this. The noise level didn’t bother me at all. It’s not whisper-quiet, but my cats didn’t bolt out of the room in terror, which is their usual standard for judging chaos. So that’s a win.All in all, this Dustbuster made cleaning the stairs faster, easier. Highly recommend, but I would caution those who have diffculty handling weight in the hands and wrist while performing a task.

Mixed Reviews! Why??
Maybe I’m not using it correctly. I don’t use it to pick up birdseed or dust furniture. I use it on fabrics like my mattress cover and chairs. If I want to pick up birdseed, I’d probably use a broom. As for furniture, I swear by my Sponge Daddy duster! Picks up every morsel of dust and just rinse it off! This vac has more than one speed so the suction is powerful. Is it not supposed to be? The charge lasts and it recharges perfectly.I’m so confused by some of these reviews! I’m sure there’s a hand vac out there that’s much better. It may even have a special setting for birdseeds.

Designed by someone who has given up on their job, or quite possibly, life itself
I'm a single guy who lives alone, so I really don't make much of a mess other than some crumbs and dirt that I track inside. The two miniature panthers I live with; however, are disgusting heathens who leave hair, more hair, and even more hair all over the place. I was looking for something that would allow me to take care of quick messes instead of breaking out the evil vacuum that gives the panthers night terrors: my pizza crumbs, or perhaps a glob of hair that one certain panther likes to leave behind every so often. So I thought I did some good research and found the right dust buster for me. I read tons of reviews, both good and bad, checked out the specs, and even looked at what spare parts are available since it could be a sign of what breaks most often. Boom. Sold. It arrived today, and my initial impression was: "meh". After a few hours to get it charged up, I took it for a test spin on hardwood floors, a countertop, some carpet, and a couch cushion. The second most annoying thing about this dust buster (I'll get the most annoying in moment) is that you have to cycle through both the low and high speeds to turn it off, and there seems to be a small delay in transitioning between the speeds and turning off. In other words, you can't just press the power button twice very quickly. You have to press it once, let it cycle into what sounds like a launch of some sort of space rocket, and then press again a second or two later to get it to turn off. This drove me nuts. The suction was OK on the hard surfaces, but it sucked - or rather didn't suck so well on carpeting and the fabric cushion. The most annoying thing about this is that the pre-filter and filter (they're connected) fall out when you go to empty the thing. The instructions and common sense state to hold it over a trash bin, press the release button on the canister, and lightly shake to get the debris out. This happens before the light shaking even begins. After a bit of detective work, I was able to determine that this is caused by the pre-filter. It's simply too heavy to allow the filter to remain attached. Aside from being the thing that will make you go fishing through whatever you just sucked up to retrieve it, the pre-filter does a great job of caking and compacting dust that will surely burn up the motor sooner rather than later.Third most annoying thing (only going to list three, but I could go on) is that there is no place to mount it, the charger is awkwardly designed - don't break or lose it (and is white?), and it just doesn't fit anywhere. It's not some sort of showpiece I want out on display for all to see, but who has electrical outlets in their hallway closet to charge something like this? You'll be stuck with this sitting out in a room, which isn't so bad when it's brand new out of the box, but disgusting after one use.I know some people seem to love this thing, but some people also take a lot of medication. Maybe there is a correlation there, maybe there isn't. My advice is to stay away from it. Far away.
