This 4-way rope perch fits nicely in my senegal parrot's cage. He's an elderly bird with foot problems and the rope is more comfortable and easier on his feet. He has other choices to perch on but I see him use this one the most. I have 2 and swap them out so I can clean one and let it dry thoroughly. He always has one in his cage. The rope holds up to abuse, can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. I trim loose threads and they have lasted a long time for this parrot.

We have bought this product multiple times, as it's a favorite for my Amazon Parrot. What I love about this particular rope perch is that it covers a wide area of 4 points of his cage, and that it has a sturdy metal wire in the middle to support it from falling when my bird decides to chew it to shreds. Will continue to use this product as long as he continues shredding them every few months 😄

This rope perch is strudy, well made with end caps that screw tightly and hold but I didn't realize how wide the rope is. Too large for my parakeets.

THIS IS A GREAT PERCH FOR YOUR BIRD. IT ALLOWS THE BIRD TO SIT UP HIGH IN THE CAGE AND MY BIRD LOVES IT FOR THIS REASON. THE BIRD DOES LIKE TO CHEW ON THE MATERIAL, AS THEY DO LIKE TO CHEW ON THIS TYPE OF MATERIAL. IT IS VERY STURDY AND DOES CLEAN UP WHEN YOU WASH IT. GREAT BUY FOR THE PRICE.

I purchased a few of these rope perches a couple of years ago and wanted to update them since they’ve been worn down. However, the perches that I received this time around are roughly 2 inches shorter than the previous ones, and a little bit thinner. This leads me to believe that either the manufacturer has decreased the size or these are not the name brand that they claim and package to be. Either way, it is much unfortunate because the new rope perches are too short to use in my parrot’s cages and don’t span the depth of the cage any longer, which is 21”. These perches have lasted my birds a few years, and were starting to come apart at the seams where the rope meets the anchor. Not because they chew them but simply because the glue lost its adhesion. I’m really disappointed in the new products and had to rearrange their rope perches in such an awkward position, and can no longer have them towards the middle of the cage because there’s nowhere to clip them, and only work if I secure 2 of the rope ends much closer than they were and 2 of them to the top. They should put the measurements in the product description so there is total transparency as to the size that you are receiving. It is normal to have inflation, but I also want to mention that these have significantly increased in price over a 2 year period. When I bought them last time, I paid under $10 per perch, and now they are almost $20 per perch. With the increase in price and apparent reduced size, I no longer feel like these are a good buy and will be searching for another product to replace these.

Noticed this morning that one of the ends was detached from the end cap. I don't see how the weight of our little conure could have caused the break.

This perch arrived smelling very strongly. Completely embedded with fragrance. Will not let it near my bird.
