Excellent product. A little goes a long ways.
Really nice teak oil! Had seen this used in marine environments on boats and swim platforms and decided to try it for a teak shelf unit in our shower. It goes on really easy and we waited 5 minutes like the instructions indicated and wiped down the excess. It looks great and beads the water from the shower. I see this protecting not only the wood but keeping that nice teak color from graying as quickly.I did not notice any strange smells or issues with application which I did in our garage. We let it dry thoroughly before placing it inside.I highly recommend this product. We only used a small amount on a three shelf unit about 12 x 12 x 41 inches. 16oz will last us a very long time!Update 2024:6 years later and I still like the product and I still have the same bottle! Works great and a little goes a long way!The shower shelf has lasted all this time since 2018 and finally got to the point where it will not restore to natural teak color. This shelf was in a shower used several times a day and I took the shelf out every 6-12 months before it started to turn gray and reapplied Teak Oil. Last couple years I would power wash to remove the 'junk' from being wet and apply teak oil. Now I can't get the color back and shelf is too difficult to sand with all the crevices and slits in the shelving so we bought another one. I don't like the natural gray color but do like the wood color of teak so we just deal with it and put on more Teak Oil than some might think necessary. (Used to do this to an old swim platform on a Master Craft boat too!)One things to mention, if near or around water, teak will want to naturally gray no matter what you do. If you don't like that, you might should think about another wood or go with something that looks like teak. You can fight it all you want with this oil, but eventually the natural graying will take over and usually sanding is necessary to get it back.Recommendation: If in a shower, take it out every 6 months/clean/apply more teak oil. If an outside table/patio set, you should probably put this stuff on more frequently than you might think to the parts that face the sun/rain. I'd check it every couple months and apply when you think it does not need it (note, some covers hold moisture from the wood so it will speed up graying). Don't wait until a once-a-year cleaning after being out all winter and/or covered. The wood is fine, but color will turn that grayish color and very hard to get it back to that deep rich color without sanding.

Works well
Our teak bench is in our shower. I oil it once per month. This product has kept it looking new even under the harsh environment.

This is the perfect product for outdoor wood furniture.
I've had a bourbon barrel table on my front porch for about a year or so. Out of the rain mostly with only a couple hours of direct sun daily. But it started fading and the subtle finish started flaking. I used Old English furniture polish to restore it, but it literally only lasted a couple days and I could see it was more wax than oil. So i used the OE oil, but I seen it was mineral oil and would eventually dry out. So I looked into quality wood oils linseed, tung, teak, etc.So after some research about the smell of some oils, darkening, and desired outcomes. I choose Teak Oil. No bad smell and slight darkening. The table was still thirsty and absorbed my first couple of applications easily. It never sweated out the oil despite high humidity and temperatures in the high 90s. The picture provided is a month since I applied Teak Oil. I have been using the product on my indoor furniture and cabinets too. The only issue I have is that the bottle just has an open top. It would be better if it had a squirt applicator for squeezing onto a rag or wood surface instead of slopping it out of the bottle inconsistently. It also goes a long way. Used about 10% of the bottle to get this permanent richness.

Easy to use. Beautiful finish.
I have teak doors from Bali - very ornate with carved detail. I had let them dry over the years, they becoming quite pale. One coat with this stuff brought them back to their richly colored former glory. They take a beating in their current location getting hit by sprinklers. It’s on me to make sure they stay oiled enough to remain protected. I waited too long before this next maintenance coat. It’s so hard for me to say which oil or brand is best for my situation, but do like the way this oil penetrates and brings out the tone of the wood.

Just look at the results
I have an older boat with teak trim and a teak swim deck. I scrubbed all the teak with a solution of water, white vinegar, and a little Dawn soap. I rinsed it well with the garden hose and let it dry in the sun. I applied three coats of this teak oil (the wood was REALLY dry) by squirting it on and rubbing it in with heavy rubber gloves on my hands. It took an afternoon, and I was careful to wipe off excess oil on the fiber glass, but LOOK AT THE RESULTS. It was worth the price of one bottle and an afternoon of my time. I’ll repeat this next season. 5 stars for this product.

Expensive but works well,.
My wife and I love this stuff as it keeps our patio furniture looking brand new and in great condition. It's fairly simple to apply, although we don't exactly follow the directions as we use a brush instead of a rag. But it makes it a bit easier to apply when utilizing a brush and the container lasts longer with that method. Lasting longer is great as this is a bit on the pricey side so you want to make sure and stretch it out. We were able to do our small patio table and four chairs with about two bottles of this. We tried using a different brand and it wasn't the same, definitely not as good. Overall this works well but be warned that it could be an expensive project.
