Mens Analogue-Digital Quartz Watch

This is a very good watch, rugged and practical, with an exceptional night light, properlywater resistant for swimming and snorkeling, and for a reasonable price point. It's also surprisingly eye catching, gaining admiration from many. All round a great purchase.

Awesome piece from Casio.....The Green Model being the best looking in my view, the bright white Handset being super legible, and the Green Case and Strap giving it a cool Military vibe. Mega comfy, super accurate, with enough functions to keep the most fussy G-Shock collector happy......One fly in the Horological ointment...The Negative LCD Display, which can be a tad difficult to read unless you are in direct Sunlight, but the light Button at 6 O,clock solves that minor problem, and to be honest, the Dial does look cooler with a Negative Display as opposed to a Positive one. If you are used to setting up and using G-Shocks...It,s a piece of cake to operate.....It joins my 30 plus collection of G,s......And I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tough, accurate, and extremely good looking timepiece.

Firstly, as others have pointed out, the colour isn't a pure white - more of a dull off-white, but I really like that - it makes it striking but not in an 'in-ya-face' kind of way. The features are really handy, such as a large number of city time zones preprogrammed in, and also has stopwatch, timer, date and 5 alarm functions. I love the combination of analogue hands and digital displays and once you've read the instructions it takes no time at all to get accustomed to the features and how to use them. It also has a nifty little light button on the bottom (you select either 1.5 or 3 second illumination time when setting up) and if you press this button twice quickly it moves the hands away from the digital displays for those moments when the time might mean the hands obscure what is seen in these displays (nice touch!), then a double touch returns the hands back to the correct time. Also has automatic daylight saving time adjustment which is also quite handy. The strap is quite firm and not rubbery like a silicon strap and adds to the overall quality of the watch. The only improvement I would suggest is a feature that allows you to select the volume of the alarm/hour beep chimes, it's a little on the quiet side and personally I'd like the option to have an alarm that packs a bit more punch. Great watch & great quality for a great price!

Smart, easy on the eye, fits the wrist well and made of carbon fibre rather than normal plastic - a very nice tactical look and relatively easy to use - though as others have mentioned, it's a little fiddly to set up and amend especially if you hope between time zones a lot like I do! Tough as nails, decent night illumination and easy to read. One strength of this watch is that it will pass with a suit or more formal wear, which cannot be said of some of G-Shocks more chunky-built digital offerings. Overall this is a good quality buy at an excellent price, prompt and secure delivery by Amazon - I was very pleased, and bought another for a friend!

These new designs are moving gshock in a new direction, a sort of hybrid of gshock and traditional style watches. I've only had it half an hour so I'll reserve judgement on the watch before deciding whether I exchange it. Good points are the high quality fit and finish which feels like a step up from the older designs and is very solid. Although carbon fibre is used in its construction I wouldn't say it's that much lighter than the older models which I'm quite happy with and it's yet another supremely comfortable gshock. The 3d dial design is beautifully done with a very trick function selector spinning at the touch of a button. Functions are typical casio and setup is familiar. The light is adequate enough to illuminate the face and subdials and you will need it in low light as there are the usual drawbacks with negative displays. Bad points, and they are minor. The black version is quite subdued and hides the 3d details in low light. There appears to be no auto light function and the 5 daily alarms are fairly pointless although the alarm volume seems louder on these new models. The strap is also a bit stiff but it is high quality, more conventional fitting and will probably wear in. A solar atomic version would have been perfect and hopefully they will release one in the future. I would also have liked the khaki version but at time of purchase the black was £45 cheaper. All in all it's a nice watch which I will evaluate over a day or so before deciding if it's for me. Update. I ended up sending this back. It's a decent enough watch but the decision to omit an auto illumination feature is a poor decision. Casio have been incorporating this into cheaper models for nearly 20 years so why not this one? The other flaw is the negative day/date screen is too small. I've no doubt that it's a tough watch but being more conventional in design it doesn't look like it will last as long as the older designs. I decided to replace it with an old school mudman g9000 which arrives today. Another update, Olive green turned up at £55 which is a great price in comparison to the other colours and the RRP of £120. I'm giving this another chance as the dial looks a lot more legible compared to the black version.

Good product. Meets my expectations.

This watch is impressive, usual Casio G-Shock quality. The new Carbon Core Guard is just pretty, and not using any metal for the case is unusual, but that makes this G-Shock unique. You can see the time at a glance, as it has big white/grey handles. Lots of functions (timer, stopwatch, five alarms, calendar) All 'pros' except for one 'con': The digital screens are tiny, so it is sometimes difficult to read the values shown there. A very tough watch. I hit mine a few times, and I couldn't find any wear sign or dent. This is the second one I bought, I have the GA-2000 Gorillaz edition, and I like it so much that I wanted a similar one for everyday use. Recommended!

El reloj me ha parecido muy bonito, pesa poco y el color verde le da un estilo militar. En las fotos que había visto parecía más grande de lo que realmente es cuando te lo pones, por eso no estaba convencido de comprarlo al principio, pero una vez que me lo he puesto, he comprobado que no se ve tan grande y que pesa muy poco. Me lo volvería a comprar. Solo lo uso para ver la hora, por lo que el resto de funciones no las he usado.

Gibt es schon lange die Uhr...aber zeitlos

Tan bonito como parece. Sorprende lo ligero que es y lo bien que sienta con cualquier ropa que te pongas. Un G Shock diferente.

Un style un peu brut de décoffrage mais très fonctionnelle et robuste pour quelqu’un ayant un boulot physique avec le risque d’encaisser des chocs.
