Solidly built and well insulated
I should start by saying that I am NOT a rookie when it comes to French Press coffee. However, I have always used the glass beaker version of the presses up until now. But as the number of coffee drinkers in the family grew, so did the need for a second press in order to meet the early morning demand. There have always been two issues with glass presses: 1) The chance that the beaker could crack/break. 2) The loss of heat during the steeping process. A stainless steel press eliminates both of these issues and I am very happy with the performance of this very inexpensive model. It has a really good weight to it and the outside remained relatively cool to the touch during the 4-5 minutes that the coffee was brewing. The filter/plunger sysytem is basically the same as any other French Press, but I was happy to get extra screens, a cleaning brush and a long scoop/spoon.There have been some other reviews that say the pot does not hold the coffee hot for a long enough time. I have to STRONGLY DISAGREE. Once the coffee is brewed, it really needs to be either consumed immediately or transfered to an airtight thermal container. Leaving coffee in the press while still in contact with the grounds is what leads to a bitter and murky beverage as the oxidation process is continuing. You should never use a French Press like a Thermos. That would be the same as trying to make a grilled cheese sandwich in a toaster. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD do something.Overall, I think this is a great entry-level French Press and is well worth the price.

Works well. Nice deal
So, I started making pressed coffee with a cheap press pot from Target. It was a pretty standard affair -- glass beaker, the rest was plastic, save for the metal plunger. Oh, and the mesh screen on the plunger? Couldn't be taken apart for cleaning. You'd pretty much have to replace the whole thing once the screen inevitably wears out. So now that's just a pitcher without a lid. So. . . not wanting to repeat that experience, I turned to Amazon and found what looked like the sturdiest thing I could find. That's this little gem. I got it a while back and managed to keep it pretty shiny. Every single part of it can be taken apart for thorough cleaning. A press pot is just a press pot, though. The coffee you get is pretty much only as good as your grinder -- even if you use all three of the mesh screens at once, you still need a coarse, even grind for a good, clean cup. But more importantly, you also need a good, clean brewer if you want a good cup of coffee -- residual oils from the last brew can go rancid and ruin that nice, fresh brew you just made. Solution? Get a press pot that you can easily take apart and thoroughly clean after each and every use. Stainless steel is easy to clean as long as you clean it rather promptly. If you're new to using a press pot, you may opt for one with a glass beaker instead, as that allows you to see what you're actually doing. But even then, you'll probably want to upgrade to stainless steel eventually, due to its excellent heat retention and its longevity. Although the mesh screens should be changed about once a year, I expect the rest of this product to last as long as I do, otherwise I'll update this review to let you know.

Not only a coffee maker, great for tea lover!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I’ve been searching for coffee maker that can be easy to clean and handle. Specially running out of time in the morning. I decide to choose Womice. If u take a look at my video, the plunger very easy to use and simple, the inner definitely stainless steel, but it’s not heavy, and it took less than 5 mins and my coffee r done! If u decide to make tea, make it little bit longer! The dual layer perfect for my tea, it made my tea taste stronger! It keeps your drinks fresh, the good thing is this product very easy to clean, save me lot of time! Food Grade 304/ stainless and dual layer, why not give it a try, worth it.

Good, but could use some improvements
I think this french press did a good job, but it could use some improvements. The coffee it makes is as good as any french press that I've had. I bought this because of the double-walled stainless steel, thinking it would help to keep my coffee warm longer while I'm working; however, I've noticed that it starts to lose a lot of temperature within an hour and is basically cold within 1-1/2 hours, which isn't much longer than a standard glass french press. Another issue I found is that a lot of grounds seem to get caught between the filter screen and the metal structure disc to where I have to disassemble the plunger every time I wash it, which I've never had this issue with any other french presses. If you're just looking for a french press, this will definitely get the job done, but it's not the greatest one I've ever had.

Well-made and half the price of competitors!
One more “upgrade” to my kitchen is a double wall French Press! Figured as we move into the winter months this would be a welcome addition. I have priced these out at double the price, but discovered this one at a friend’s house. So easy to use and clean, with delicious results, every time. Perfect for coffee or tea. Definitely worth the investment for such a great kitchen item. Double wall stainless steel with an extra filter, spoon and cleaning brush included!

A must-have for coffee lovers.
This is my first French Press that I have personally owned. It's not that I haven't had coffee made in a French press before just never owned one personally. I love this French press. I can get the desired bold and dark flavor in 5-10 minutes instead of waiting the 20 or so minutes for it to brew in my over the burner coffee pot. I live an off grid lifestyle and I must say this fits in perfectly with that. Because of its construction if you need to warm the coffee up no problem just pop it back on the stove for a few minutes. Thank you so much.
