I love these collar stays

Since my new job requires me to wear dress shirts every day, I started needing collar stays every day. Even though my dress shirts come with those plastic collar stays, they are fairly flimsy and quite frankly useless. Therefore, I figured that it was time to buy metal collar stays. After some searching, I settled on these, mostly because of the number of collar stays (50) for the price. I figured that no one sees them and their only purpose to me is that they need to straighten out the end of my collar.To that end, this is a five star product. I love the box that they come in because I have a place to put my collar stays when I take them out (as opposed to somewhere on the dresser causing me to lose them over time).I personally have only used the longer collar stays, not the shorter ones but that’s a function of the types of shirts and their collars. And because the price point is no nice, I am no longer worried about losing and paying a ton of money. I have a perfect place to keep them, and even if I were to lose them, I would buy the same ones again. Just as importantly, they have not bent yet (and i accidentally left two in when washing one dress shirt of mine).Overall, a great buy, the collar stays do their job perfectly, are not visible, and I stop losing them. Nice upgrade for me. I'm very glad that I did not spend the additional money to buy higher priced ones from the store because I don't see how anything but the size of these collar stays could affect usability.

my husband loses or bends his plastic collar stays all the time; this order came with plenty of stays in two sizes; my husband was delighted and uses them daily; because they are more sturdy than plastic, he remembers to remove them from his shirts so they don't get lost at the cleaners. definitely worth the price.

This is a good combination package including 50 metal collars divided into short collar stays and long collar stays. This is much better than the plastic ones that come in many of the shirts collars.

I've only recently starting using collar stays, but I certainly appreciate the improvement that they make. Prior to these, I was using plastic collar stays - they worked well but were easily bent and usually ended up pilled up in my washer/dryer. These hold their place in the shirt very nicely and when I forget to remove them before washing, they're usually still in the collar when I take them out. If you're looking for an improvement from typical plastic stays, these are definitely the route to take.One thing to look out for is that these will not fit every dress shirt. I've noticed that these will often protrude the collar - so make sure that you look at the sizes closely to ensure that these will fit.

* I've purchased metal (brass) collar stays from Brooks Bros and Jos A Bank--ridiculously expensive.* I've purchased two other brands of metal collar stays on Amazon: one was flimsy and bent in normal use, and both were expensive, given the quantity received.* These are the ones you need--sturdy, a solid value with plenty of quantity to account for losing some, and a nice storage box (although I discarded it in favor of keeping these in a shot glass on my dresser). Enjoy.
