Simple replacement Schrader Core.
Dead simple to replace and old Schrader lock core. Rekeying could cost you $15 or putting in a replacement doorknob/deadbolt could cost $35+.Ease of installation:Took me about 5-8 minutes to replace the core myself with only screwdrivers.Functionality:Now I have a new key. Previous house owners never had one, apparently they only used the front door? 🤔🙄Why did you pick this product vs others?:Because I only needed to replace the lock and not the whole brass door handle plate.

Perfect Replacement After Losing My Keys
I lost the keys to my old lock and needed a quick replacement, so I went with the Prime-Line E 2103 Cylinder Lock since it works with Schlage-shaped keys and fit my door perfectly.Installation was mostly straightforward, but I did have to cut the tailpiece shorter than I expected. That part was a bit tricky and took some extra effort, but once I got it trimmed, everything fit and worked smoothly. The key turns easily and is also simple to remove—no sticking or hassle at all. The lock feels solid and secure overall. I’m really happy with how it turned out and would definitely recommend it if you need a reliable replacement after losing your keys.

very badly made, took handyman 1.5 hrs to adjust it to work-sort of
Who designed this junk? If all the problems would have been apparent from the get go, he would have let me know to return it- but 3 points in the installation, he had to make adjustments to it to finally get it to work, well sort of.You have to turn the key all the way around and then back a 1/2 turn to lock it due to where the stop is that he had to file off for it to work.I am so upset about this purchase, since it is a pain to lock and unlock it, instead of just turning a key like the cylinder it replaced, plus I had to pay $125 for his time to install it!avoid at all costs!

It's a great little lock, but a bit of work to install!
Wow! It fit my vintage sliding door handle perfectly! Works great! You better be a handyman if this is a new install tho... my door didn't come with a lock and so the hole for the lock in the handle had to be drilled out... don't try and knock the slug out... pot metal doesn't tolerate abuse well... and there is a little notch that needs to be cut out to accommodate the bar that keeps the lock stable, a metal file works great for this... and make sure the hole you drill is slightly, very slightly larger than the key hole housing or it won't turn once you install it. And then you need to drill a hole through the door so the lock mechanism bar has a space to slide through...A little work... but it does work! Whew!

Maybe this cylinder fits other Schlage locks, but not a Camelot keypad deadbolt
This did not fit my Schlage Camelot Keypad deadbolt. The solid brass vertical bar does not have a notch in it, which makes it too tall to fit in my deadbolt.

Works for pella handle! pain to get everything flush and in place but works perfect!
IT WORKED! had a pella slide door handle with lock and no key. this fit perfect after trimming the metal end to size and voila a new lock with key! this thing was a pain to install though tbh,
