if you're referring to raw honey as in straight from the hive then this is not, as it is heated and natural impurities are removed before packing. Nothing is added, it is natural pure organic honey.

How can honey be organic? The bees can surely fly off to wherever they want?

That depends where they are kept. Say some hives kept in the Highlands or out in the moors bees could produce Heather honey. Bees can travel a fair distance. They still have to forage for pollen and travel back to the hive. They usually travel 2 miles in distance. Bee hive's In Eastern Europe and Greece say can be kept out in the countryside. They forage for what is out there. I have bought honey which bees have been around fir trees etc collecting pollen.organic honey is different from other honey not in the way it is produced but the source of said honey. If the bee hive or hives are near organic certified grown plants meaning no pesticide used then the honey will be organic. Hope I have helped you in some way
