This futon mattress arrived and frankly first impressions not like photo , just a shallow little mattress of dubious quality very disappointed .Thought not fit for purpose so will send it back and Company accepted it back so far so good . Then got it boxed up and attempted to send it back to find that paying for its return meant out of pocket and frankly had no option but to keep it . Three months on and it shows it quality, will by end of year be going for recycling . Frankly will never buy big bulky items on Amazon again .

Bought this as a emergency guest bed. After my guests left, I tried sleeping on it overnight just out of curiosity. It was awful!!!! My back was aching in the morning. It is shocking to me as I am quite used to sleeping on futons or mattresses as firm as asphalt back in Asia.

To be fair it is actually almost 7.5cm thick but don't be fooled,it's mostly air and can easily be compressed to 2cm between finger and thumb, not exactly plump like the pictures of some other futon mattress used to advertise it, you could easily stuff another one of these mattresses inside the first one and it would start to resemble the picture and maybe even be dense enough to give some support, probably fine if you don't intend to sleep on it more than once in a blue moon or you weigh no more than 5 stone and happen to be roughly the same dimensions as this mattress so there is a good weight distribution.

I’ve been in touch with the company and all I got back was “we will look into it”. A complete disregard to the fact that I’ve paid for an item that now seems to be lost! We had to double pay for a different mattress so my guests didn’t sleep on the floor. VERY upset!

This item arrived late and was also missing it's cover. When I contacted the seller not only was he very rude to me but he claimed that the mattress casing was in fact the cover (e.g the non removable tufted encasement which stops the foam & fibre bits from filling spilling out). This means if you buy this item you will also have to buy a separate cover which will const you around £30-£40 unless you want to sit and sleep un an unwashable mattress which would be pretty disgusting.If you look at the reviews it is clear some customers have in the past received the item with the cover as advertised (they specifically mention being able to remove it for washing) and some haven't so may you may wish to take gamble but if yours doesn't you can only expect rudeness and obfuscation from their staff.PS. I have owned a number of Futon over the years and they all came with a cover as standard.

Whilst this came really quickly beware as it is much thinner than it looks like on the picture. Am disappointed as it is so thin. I don't expect it to be very comfy to sleep on. However, it's on the bunk / sofa bed in my son's room and he enjoys sitting on it whilst he's on his play station.

Purchased to use in bell tents for my bell tent hire business. Easy to carry, folds into 3, thick enough to be comfy but quite light. My only gripe Is that after first use there is a damp white body shape on the mattress. I assumed the mattress had somehow got wet with an alcohol spillage and this was what was left once dried, but the same thing has happened on both mattresses I bought and has continued to happen as if the mattress collects body salt! This is even with a fitted sheet in constant use.

Ordered a single futon mattress and received a double by mistake. Problem was solved immediately by an excellent customer service team, who picked up and delivered correct size within a couple of days. Bought mattress to use on z-bed, and very pleased with size and comfortable.
