Had ants all over the place; inside and out. I used the granules with a spreader for the large areas and the liquid Talstar (1 oz. per gallon) for the boarders, edges and cracks. It took about two weeks for it to take hold. I also had to use some of the liquid inside the house along the baseboards where I found them coming in. Its been about 2 months now without a trace of ants; this is a first in the 20 plus years since we've owned our house we've been totally ant free. Use as directed; remember, this will not kill ants immediately. It is highly diluted and slow acting so the ants will take it back to the nest. When an ant dies in the nest, it is recycled and eaten by the others and so the poison is spread throughout the nest. Don't mix it stronger thinking it will work better; it won't! You will make it work less! You will kill the surface ants and they will die on top of the ground and won't take die in the nest. As a plus, it also takes our crickets, earwigs, fleas and black widow spiders and more. I've seen a dozen black dead widow spiders lying around. This will not effect the good spiders in the bushes and trees as these stay off the ground where you spray. I also helped a friend of mine who had ant problems, they had the same positive results. I will always keep some of this product on hand. It says to respray with the liquid about every 3 months to maintain the barrier..

Very easy to use, it repels the ants as soon as the stuff hits the ground. So far haven't seen it actually kill any ants but it repels very well. Find the source of the problem though, in my case it was grass clippings (compost area). Cleaned it up, and used this product mixed with water to flush out the entrance to the ant mound.

Testarossa is very hard to get around my area so thanks for carrying it. I appreciate the effect it has on alot of the insects in our yard. My little dog appreciates it too!

Our backyard is highly wooded so we gave this a try. Saw a difference immediately! Followed the directions and applied as directed. Will reapply as needed. Will repurchase. Recommend!

WE had an outbreak of fleas that stomping on them would not work. treat once and fallow up 12 days later.

Talstar is expensive. But, it is worth it. We have tons of fire ants in our area that have mated with local ants and are now small and can survive the winters in our area. But using this on their mounds is 100% effective. Use a (long) shovel to open the mound and expose the tunnels, sprinkle a generous helping of Talstar, then soak with water until the granules disappear. The fire ants will be dead in about 30 minutes.
