This Is NOT A Pulley.
A pulley is a fixed wheel and axle. The rope is supposed to be easier to pull because the wheel has low friction with axle and as you pull on the rope, the wheel spins with the rope. The only work you are supposed to do the weight of the load itself, plus the teeny tiny bit of wheel and axle friction. Not this pulley.The wheel and axle have so much friction, the wheel binds up and you end up dragging the rope around the stationary (not spinning) wheel/pulley. The pulley adds a great deal of friction to the lift. For a 250 lbs rated pulley, 1 cinder block should not be a problem. In fact I could get the wheel to bind up just barely pulling on the rope with my just my hands. It was like pulling a rope through a eye screw.Son, I am disappoint

Too much friction to be useful for heavy loads.
PROS:- the wheels are well-centered and round. Most of what you get from the big box stores aren't well centered and the camming action produced is not a good thing for anything with a load. These are better than that.CONS:- Though these are rated for 165 pounds (75kg), under a load of 50 pounds, the friction on the wheels was enough to make the wheels difficult to turn, which is a pretty big defeat for a pulley. I bought two of the 2-packs and am splitting a sub-100 pound load between each pair. The friction alone made lifting the system HARDER than it was with out-of-round single pulleys from the big box store.Presumably if you're buying double pulleys, you're trying to gain mechanical advantage on something heavy. But heavy things are too much for the wheels in these pulleys.

Works fine
I added a little bit of WD-40 to the rollers and I am using it to lift some weights in a DIY workout system. It works very well and it is a very good value for the money.

Lightens the weight .
Used on my hanging deer feeder . useing it with a single pulley on the opposite end as a snatch block made raising the heavy barrel very easy . I should have done it years ago .

Good double pulley block
Good solid construction with reasonable fit and finish. Better than I expected for the price. I am using these for main sheet control on an Escape Rumba. The block easily accommodates 1/2 inch sheet (rope) with room to spare. I would buy this again.
