Excellent Quality Material - Youtube Ideas for Skeleton Frame
This is a great grappling dummy and the canvas material allows for a little stretch so you can pack it tight. You can't do that with latex or faux leather as the seams and material itself will burst during grappling. Canvas is the way to go. By the way, there are some EXCELLENT videos on YouTube on how to use PVC pipe to build a skeleton frame with connected joints (knees, elbows, etc.) for more realistic training. I haven't done it yet but intend to do so. Worth checking out. Good Luck.

Advertisement as Leather Material
The material is thin cotton fabric and the switching is weak.

Use old clothes to fill
Its great! Took me forever to fill it, but once filled, its a lot of fun! I used old clothes (a lot) to fill it. I cut the clothes into strips and just keeps stuffing.

Not bad and pretty sturdy for an 11 year in JJ and Krav Maga
Fill with old clothes is much easier

Good for light practice but could be better.
The arms are too short for good technique practicing. The legs & torso are not ridgid enough to maintin sitting up position to practice full guard. I filled with shredded rubber mulch instead of rags and it made it about 80-110lbs easy if not heavier which maybe wasn't a great idea. I'd suggest using a thin foam pool noodle or plumbing pex to set up as bone structure and then fill. The main issue is that it is fraying everywhere and is very lightly used with a GI/Kimono on it to prevent that from happening (practice grips & keep it clean). Wish it was stitched stronger and the arms were a foot longer (more anatomically correct) as it is like rolling with a T-Rex.

Arms too short
Quality seems ok but the arms are way too short. If you’re hoping to work on arm bar transitions this might not be for you.

Great buy
Very sturdy materials and construction. Lakes a lot of old clothing to fill this guy but well worth it.
