TimexMen's Easy Reader Watch

I bought this watch as I have low vision and need something easy to read. I have always had good luck with the Timex brand. It is indeed easy to read and at the push of the stem, glows in the dark, always great when having to wake up in the night for kids or prayers.Now, what everyone complains about: YES, you WILL have to turn the stem of this watch many, many times to set the date and time correctly. I say, put your favorite audiobook, recording, etc. on your headphones and just go for it. It's not difficult, just time consuming. This is the only drawback of this watch.It is very handsome to wear, and comes a good six inches up my arm as a woman. I keep meaning to take it to a jeweler to have it resized, but rather like it as is, as I always seem to have my sleeves rolled up all the time anyway! It is water resistant, I do take it off in the shower but I have gotten it wet washing my hands and it hasn't hurt the watch at all. Five stars!

I had a Timex Indiglo years ago and have missed it ever since it died. Have purchased several other brands and they have all been good watches but finding myself in need of another I remembered how much I liked that Timex and was surprised to see it still available. Sometimes it’s the simplicity of things that really bring out their quality. This watch is all about that. It couldn’t be any easier to set and the dial is very easy to read for these 70 year old eyes. It’s really nice to have the Indiglo feature back for viewing in low light and my favorite type of band, no clasp to fuss with, just slide it on and off you go. It has a nice gold tone that matches my wedding band and all this for less than $50. Oh! And did I mention it’s hands down the most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn. There are literally thousands of watches to choose from out there, some good some not so good, many much better, but if you want something simple, handsome, accurate, comfortable and reasonably priced try a Timex.

Great simple watch! Exactly what I was looking for. I have not worn a watch in 30 years and this one reminded me of the flex band watches my gramps wore.Pros:Easy to read.Light weight.Nice and easy to set date/time.Nice looking stainless steel bezel and band. Looks more expensive than it was. Smart looking and simple.I like the dark blue face.Cons:Band is pretty small. It just fits my wrist. Some stretching has helped. I am 5'9" 220lbs and average wrists. Some minor band link separation but for the money, it's not a huge deal. Not buying a larger band as they are nearly the cost of this watch.Indiglow feature leaves a thin dark li r across the top of the face at the 12oclock position. I remember this issue going g way back k I to the 80's models. Funny Timex hasn't resolved that. However the light is bright and functional.Overall I like the watch allot. Smart looking, classic, functional, and affordable. I catch myself looking at the thing as it's pretty nice. Totally happy with it. Glad I chose this over other brands that fogged up when wet. No issues thus far!

Favorite watch at our house. Husband’s been wearing this model watch for at least 30 years.Easy to read, fits well, lights up to read in the dark and very sturdy.He’s lost 3, so just got him a new one.

I purchased this watch as a gift for my husband. He wanted a BASIC watch. He did not want all the bells and whistles that you can get on a watch. This watch is exactly what he wanted. The numbers are very easy to read and comfortable on his wrist. If you want a very basic watch that tells you the time and not 10 other things, this watch is for you.

I spent years looking for a watch with a readable day date. This one does it (So do some Rolexs at $40,000.) The Indigo light feature is great. The painted numerals and hands on most watches are hard to read and wear out with time. Keeps perfect time.However the Spandex band does not fit 6-8 inches. My wrist is 6" and it was way too big. The jeweler I went to said you can not remove links from Spandex bracelets. I don't believe her but I wanted a leather band anyway. 8" Spandex should be big enough for anyone so you wouldn't need any extra links. Setting day is tricky. Must turn time winding stem many times to get right day.
